I received dozens of stamped birthday cards in response to THIS CHALLENGE. THANK YOU to everyone who participated!!
I have LOTS and LOTS of favorites.. I'm paring it down to my top 3 (or maybe 5) and will post them on Sunday afternoon after church.

I had so many requests to teach this class, and.... today is the BIG DAY !!
We are using Afternoon Tea designer paper from Stampin' Up! and the GORGEOUS Bloomin' Beautiful set from the Stampin' Up! Occasions mini catalog. The class was based on Andrea's class HERE. If you'd like instructions, please click here to purchase Andrea's tutorial.
In this class we are making a box with a portfolio inside and 4 cards inside the portfolio... ok.. I'll admit it.. it's a LOT to accomplish in a class.. but we hope to get it all done today in the morning session and again in the afternoon session. Wish us luck!

Holy Cow Batman.. what happened... 14,205 blog hits YESTERDAY - in ONE DAY !!??? What in the world was going on when I was away at the eye dr... ?? :)
Speaking of which.. not that you really care about this.. but.. it's soooooooo exciting for me so I just have to share... yesterday afternoon I had an appointment with a contact lens specialist... and OH MY GOSH>>> after wearing glasses and/or contacts for the last 45 years but STILL living life in a blurry state all that time, today I can FINALLY I CAN REALLY SEE!! I got the B&L Multi Focal contacts they've been advertising on TV, and OH MY GOSH>>> i can really see! I mean it! If you haven't lived your life in a blur, you probably can't relate.. but I am so happy I could just cry because I can really really really SEE now for the first time in my life!!!!!! These are like progressive trifocal glasses, but in a contact lens.
OK, enough of that.. Hope your day is wonderful! I'm counting my blessings!

LOL... Typepad must be having issues... NOW it says I had 102,000+ blog hits on my birthday and 104,000+ the day before!! LOL... totally not true.. so I really doubt I had 14,000+ hits yesterday.. but it's pretty funny to see that on my stats graph!

My new friend, Stacey Carter, designed a FABULOUS T-shirt for her upline's Stampahowlics group for convention, and I knew I wanted one for my group too!! So she designed a shirt for my Luv 2 Stamp Group - we can wear them to convention or anytime - workshops, meetings, around town, Stamp Camps, etc.!! What a FUN way to advertise what you do!

Here are some samples from the "Stamp A Rama shoebox swap" I do with my direct recruits and Power Team. The cards are supposed to be 10 minute demonstratable cards because we have about 2-1/2 hours to make about 13 or 14 cards at this event. It's lots of fun and we all learn great stamping tips from each other's projects!

Here is one more card my gals made at their 5 Fun Free event on May 17th.
It's a 3x6 card in Bashful Blue, using some of the Summer Picnic designer papers that have been neglected - at least in my house these prints were neglected. I like how this combo turned out!
The blue flower in the center is punched out of the Summer Picnic paper as well.
"Thank You Much" is from "Block Party" on pg 32. I've mounted them separately... see THIS POST.
Here's a HOT TIP for you ... to color the center of the Silver Hodgepodge brads, I simply used a fine point Sharpee marker!!
We've done the crystal effects mixed with reinker (see HERE), but this is really easy for just a small added dash of color!!

There will be a delay in stamping posts until I can get back on my "real" computer.. my video card died this morning, so my DH is repairing that and installing new spyware and internet security software... it's taking FOREVER to scan my bazillion files.
I don't have any of my photoshopped/watermarked photos on my laptop, so I can't upload anything from here.. but "I'll be back" very soon. :)

Yep, I'm an American Idol fan.. and I'm SOOOO stoked that David Cook won! He was my favorite singer and performer and I think he has a great personality too!
For the past couple of months people have been stopping us saying how much our son looks like David Cook... judge for yourself....
