Fun Tins!

I found these great tins at Target and loved the bright colors!!  I decided to dress them up with new buttons, ribbon, brads, etc.   I used the Crop A Dile to punch holes when needed.   Aren't they cute with our In Color Ribbon???!!  These will go with me to workshops and meetings for the Make & Takes!

I added buttons from Stampin' Up!'s Button Bouquet using Glue Dots:

I punched holes with the CAD and added Stampin' Up! flower brads:

I punched holes in this one with the CAD and wove In Color Striped ribbon through it... love the complimentary blue and Tangerine Tango!

And this one is a hostess gift for my workshop hostess this weekend.. a sampler of the In Color Ribbon and an In Color bookmark! :)

Yummy new Stampin' Up! Ribbons!!

I got my order of new Stampin' Up! goodies yesterday (yes, I expedited my shipping), and by far, my most favorite things are these 2 new ribbons... OH MY GOSH>>> good thing I ordered 3 rolls of each!  I'm gonna use them up FAST!

This is the Kiwi Kiss/Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon... (OH YUM!!!) and the Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon... I can't even tell you how fabulous these are... wish you could feel them!!!

The Kiwi/Vanilla ribbon is "double sided"..one side is kiwi and one side is vanilla.. it is fab!

And the Riding Hood Red ribbon is super luxurious with gorgeous white detail on the edges!

Here is a little card I made with both ribbons and some of my other new stuff.. it's an open end envelope folded in 1/2 and embellished with the Bella Rose paper and some of the new buttons and Filigree brads:

New Stampin' Up! In Colors 2008-2009

Last night my downline had a little gathering to talk about the new catalog products and they LOVE the new Big Shot machine! :)  I did a quick Big Shot demo and they each cut their own Stampin' Up! 20 year anniversary embossed die! 

We made bookmarks with the new In Colors (available MONDAY!):

and they put one of the 20 year anniversary dies on the back ..

Sunflower Convention Swap card

CONVENTION is coming... time for more Convention swaps!!!!  I was totally inspired by Jill's adorable card HERE, and decided I needed to make a swap card using her super cute flower idea!  WAY too cute, Jill!!! 

So I made a pile of flowers... a "paper flower garden"...

(I actually ended up making 2x this many!!) :)

Then I made it into this card with Chocolate Chip, Kiwi Kiss and Apricot Appeal cardstock:

I used the "Punches Plus" brass template and the paper piercer to add an oval of holes around the punched out greeting.

The flowers are super easy to make.. punch out Apricot cardstock with the Scallop Circle punch and then snip between each petal with Stampin' Up! Paper Snips!

The flower centers are punched with the 1" circle punch out of the Bella Rose paper, and the Kiwi Kiss polka dot paper is also from the Bella Rose Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper pack!

Stock Up NOW - Stampin' Up! In Colors

On Monday, July 21, Stampin' Up! will release the "Retiring Accessories" list.  This includes items featuring the current In Colors... see below for this year's In Colors:

As of today, July 17, Stampin' Up! has already run out of BLUE BAYOU Double Stiched ribbon and PURELY POMEGRANATE Double Stitched ribbon!  I did not expect that at all!

What that tells me is... there may be more In Color items that sell out before Monday.

If you need ANY accessories that feature the new In Colors (ink, refills, cardstock, ribbons, Simply Scrappin' Kits or Designer papers), I URGE YOU TO PLACE YOUR ORDER WITH ME ASAP, and do NOT WAIT until Monday.

Ready for some new In Colors?

Through a strange set of circumstances.. I ended up getting ONE pack of NEW 2008-2009 Stampin' Up! In Color Cardstock yesterday... (all the other new goodies I ordered are still waiting to ship).. anyway.. I had to break open the pack of c/s and play!!  So.. it's kinda BRIGHT!  Kinda Zippy, but it's summery! :)

I used Tangerine Tango and Pacific Point, and weird as it may be, I paired it with Wild Wasabi (I got that idea from the little Wild Wasabi tag that was sitting on my desk). 

Because I don't have any new In Color ink yet, I punched out flowers from cardstock to decorate the card.

Inspired by rock star stamper Deann Oliver in THIS POST, I made a pocket card out of a Fresh Cut Notecard! GREAT idea, Deann!! :)

Adhere the Fresh Cut Notecard to a 1/4 sheet of c/s, insert a small sheet of cardstock, and you have a whole different look for the Fresh Cut Notecard!

Here are the New In Colors.. they are FABULOUS!!  (Available in the new Stampin' Up! Catalog starting on Aug 11).

Typepad is STILL having issues with horrible graphics and text in blog posts. but you CAN CLICK ON THE IMAGE TO SEE IT LARGER and the text shoud look much better then.  Sorry.. I wish typepad would get this fixed!
