So here are 7 Weird or Random Facts about me:

1. Since we are BBQ'ing today, how's this for a weird fact.. I love my meat EXTRA Well Done... like in fact, Beef Jerky would be just fine!

2. I think I'm turing into my mom... lately I am developing an appreciation for several kinds of Pepperidge Farms cookies... I always remember her having a few bags on the counter, all open at one time.. but the kids never dared try one of those!  Those were HER cookies!  LOL

3. I've only had one ticket and one accident - both when I was 16 (OH so many years ago).

4. My son is older now than I was when I got my only ticket and had my only accident!  Wow.. that kind of blows my mind.

5. I reallllly want to get into digital scrapbooking in a BIG way, but I'm afraid to take that first step and start downloading a bunch of files onto my computer, ... because I know the minute I do, there's no turning back - and THEN I'll have ANOTHER hobby!

6.  This will be my 12th Stampin' Up! Convention (I have only missed one) - I remember my first convention in Vegas and feeling completely overwhelmed with about 600 people there - gosh, now we have that many at a Regional!

7.  Even though I'm almost 5'-8", my husband and son call me "short stuff". 

Well, there ya have it... I tried to make them weird and random!

Holy Cow, and on a personal note...

Holy Cow Batman.. what happened... 14,205 blog hits YESTERDAY - in ONE DAY !!???  What in the world was going on when I was away at the eye dr... ??  :)

Speaking of which.. not that you really care about this.. but.. it's soooooooo exciting for me so I just have to share...  yesterday afternoon I had an appointment with a contact lens specialist... and OH MY GOSH>>> after wearing glasses and/or contacts for the last 45 years but STILL living life in a blurry state all that time, today I can FINALLY I CAN REALLY SEE!!  I got the B&L Multi Focal contacts they've been advertising on TV, and OH MY GOSH>>> i can really see! I mean it!  If you haven't lived your life in a blur, you probably can't relate.. but I am so happy I could just cry because I can really really really SEE now for the first time in my life!!!!!!  These are like progressive trifocal glasses, but in a contact lens.

OK, enough of that..  Hope your day is wonderful!  I'm counting my blessings!

LOL... Typepad must be having issues... NOW it says I had 102,000+ blog hits on my birthday and 104,000+ the day before!!  LOL... totally not true.. so I really doubt I had 14,000+ hits yesterday.. but it's pretty funny to see that on my stats graph! 

Computer Issues

There will be a delay in stamping posts until I can get back on my "real" computer.. my video card died this morning, so my DH is repairing that and installing new spyware and internet security software... it's taking FOREVER to scan my bazillion files.

I don't have any of my photoshopped/watermarked photos on my laptop, so I can't upload anything from here.. but "I'll be back" very soon. :)

Arte y pico Award

One of the first blogs I ever started visiting a little over a year ago (when I got addicted to "blog surfing") was LMac's Catered Crops... by Linda McClain.  I wasn't sure what this blogging world was all about, but I knew I loved her blog and projects and ideas!  So, Imagine MY Surprise when she emailed today and awarded me with the Arte y pico award!  Since it's all en espanol, I'll take Linda's word for it that it's an "Artsy Fartsy" award, as she calls it!  LOL  Guess I'll have to get my son in here to translate that site for me! 

I know that several of you have nominated me for this and other awards over the past few weeks.. I'm very sorry I was unable to come up for air long enough to post the awards and name other bloggers for this award.  My life got crazy with the 90 orders for the Card Organizer Kit in the Mail and then prepping for my downline meeting yesterday.  If you will kindly re-email me to let me know you nomiated me, I'll be MORE than happy to add your name/blog to this post!!

350,000 Blog Hits!

Wow... just had to pop in and say WOW...  my blog reached 350,000 hits today... and it's not even a year old yet!!! .... I sure have enjoyed hearing from so many of you who leave comments and help to brighten my day!  I treasure all my "blogging friends" whom God has brought my way over the past 11 months!
