World Card Making Day - Christmas Cards
October 09, 2007
World Card Making Day was this past Saturday, and I planned a Christmas Card making event (as suggested on their website). I had 23 ladies sign up for this event, so I split it into 2 classes (Saturday and Sunday). We had a GREAT time with pizza and a pot luck - desserts galore and great salads and yummy snacks!!
Each class participant got a packet of supplies:
- Holiday Harmony double sided designer series paper
- Hand Selected Accents & Elements tin (self-adhesive die cuts)
- 1 roll of Pomegranate Double Stitched ribbon
- 1 pack of 25 white cards with envelopes
Using their supplies and their own 12" cutter, they rotated to 4 different stations making any of the cards they wished to copy. Here are my samples that they could copy or use for inspiration. Enjoy!
This was a YUMMY cheesecake that one gal brought.. decorated with my Stampin' Up! Group Name (Luv 2 Stamp)!
Here are some of the ladies having fun!
WOW! Those samples are BEAUTIFUL!!!! Looks like everyone had a great time!

Boy, those cards sure are beautiful, Patty. But then, I wouldn't expect anything less!
Glad everyone had a good time...sure wish California and Ontario, Canada were not so far away from each other, so I could join in your classes...lucky girls!

What a fantastic idea. Okay, I hope my customers don't see this . . . they'll be so envious.

WOW, these are great, I happen to have some of that paper and the Accents & Elements. This will help me get a jump start on my own Christmas cards!!
