Info from my Stampin' Up! Regional presentation
February 16, 2008
NOTE - Sunday AM: I have added a couple photos to this post since yesterday.. please see below.
My quick 5 minute "Workshop Wow" presentation today at the Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar included info on how to cut your 12x12 cardstock to make at least 36 cards from a Simply Scrappin' Kit!
Using the 9 pieces of textured cardstock, and cutting them according the the figure above will yield 36 4x4 cards, and you still have 6 sheets of patterned cardstock in the kit to use! Use the little 4x4 piece to punch out embellishments for your cards.
I added these supplies to embellish the cards:
And came up with several different card designs.. here are some of them.. enjoy!
"Altered" clothespin using the Tie the Knot SS kit.
More info can be found in the following previous posts:
Let me know if you have any questions,
You must have blown them all away !!! This is definately outstanding !!!! Congrats on doing such a fantastic job !!! I'll look forward to sharing all the experiences from Regionals over the next few days :)
Have a relaxing day tomorrow!

This looks like a wonderful presentation! Now I know how I can use the Simply Scrappin Sets. I don't Scrap so I never really paid that much attention to them. After seeing all of your posts, though, it looks like a really great deal! Thanks!

Patty,
I love your blog and I am so happy for you on your success with SU! This is a wonderful presentation! I wish that we could see more of these types of things. I would never purchase this, but guess what.... I would purchase any of these kits after seeing what you have done with them! Thanks so much!!!! You are a great enabler too!

Hi Patty - I just recently discovered your blog and visit nearly every day! I, too, am a SU! Demonstrator, but was unable to go to convention this year. Thank you so much for keeping those of us out in the wings apprised of the updates! These 4x4 cards are darling. I haven't attempted using the SS kits for cards as yet, but I do have several so I'm moving it up on my list. Thanks again -
