Flip-Up Centerpiece album class
May 20, 2008
Wow, did we have a good time in class last night!! .. and I have 9 more coming tonight! This is just the neatest project ... putting all the parts together to make this cool centerpiece is FUN! We used Ginger Blossom designer paper from Stampin' Up! as well as 12x12 sheets of River Rock, Groovy Guava and Ruby Red cardstock.
Directions are available from Stacey Carter HERE.
Here is the album when closed:
and here is a side/bottom view.. you can see the 4 sections stacked on each other:
and here it is as you start to open it:
The ribbon ties it closed, and also ties in a bow to keep it open when you fan out all the sections to display on the table. I can't wait to make one with any new Christmas papers we get in the new catalog and add family Christmas photos to it each year!!
This is one cool album...I am in the midst of Teacher Gift Frenzy...yikes...this may be a good thing for that...love the Bind It All...thanks for all your help...and I am a-flourish with my flower punch...and tab punch...may have to get more a few more soon!!! Back to the frenzy!

Patty, I love to come visit your blog - you do beautiful things and you have great ideas! You inspire me constantly! I used inspiration from your blog to do many of my monthly SU club projects (here in Montreal, Canada).
What a great surprise to see today's project. This is a project that I have made many times! I used to teach this full mini-album at my local scrapbook store. (Unfortunately I have no photos already posted). I also did single units as cards. If you feel like looking, here is the links to my blog entries for my Christmas card last December and for a birthday card January 07.

You'll see that the text is in French, but images are universal!
Again thanks for sharing all you do! I really appreciate!

Oh my gosh! I've just spent the last few days working on a couple of these... I tweaked mine a little bit, though... Great job...love the paper you used!

Hi Patty,
Congratulations again on Founders, and also Advisory Board! You deserve it!
I think this is such a neat project, it reminded me of playing house when I was young with dolls, can't you just see it, those are like little apartments! Ha!
Hugs,
Di
