Open End Envelope gift card holder
June 07, 2008
Here is another one of the projects we'll be making at Valerie's Stampin' Up! workshop today. I hope the gals like it. I think it's a REALLY FUN idea! My friend Jan sent me a sample similar to THIS, and that's where I got the idea. THANKS JAN!
Here are the front covers (see below for supplies):
And here is how you make them... take a Kraft Open-End envelope (pg 167 in the Stampin' Up! catalog) and open the flap, now fold it in 1/2, close the flap, and decorate... could that be any easier?
To make the gift card holder insert, use your Slit punch (pg 181) and punch 2 slits in your 3x3 scrap for the gift card to fit into.
Decorate with Hodgepodge hardware, jumbo eyelets, rhinestone brads, punches, and Western Sky Designer Paper from Stampin' Up! for a great gift card holder perfect for dads, grads, or birthdays!
Patty, These are AWESOME!!!! I'm always looking for gift card holders.... Thanks for sharing.... I will be casing this one.. Thanks!!!!

This is fabulous! I feel so stupid... We have Kraft open ended envelopes??? I just found out at Regional that we have regular Kraft envelopes. I guess I haven't looked through the catty enough!
