My Big Shot Santa
September 12, 2008
Stampin' Up! Demonstrators got to see the cutest Santa face/hat made with die cut pieces from the Big Shot, when we were at our annual Convention in August. I have made my own version, and of course have a few little tips and twists for you.
The hat is Real Red cardstock made with with the smaller pennant on the Pennant Bigz die, and the larger white scallops can either be punched from our scallop punch, or you can use the scallops on the Pennant die.
Instead of adding "Joy" on his hat like they showed at Convention, I added small scallop embellishments to his hat with the Birds & Blooms Sizzlit die and white cardstock:
I was too lazy to get my coluzzle out, so I used the largest scallop circle die and cut the "face" out of Blush Blossom c/s... put Snail adhesive around the perimeter of the "face" scallop and add the hat and large white scallops first:
His nose is the 3/4" punch and the eyes are the 1/2" circle punch. I gave him cheeks with a sponge dauber and Real Red ink.
I hope you enjoyed my Santa!
Have a great weekend!
Too darn cute! It's always nice to find a different use for flowers. Love it! :)
