Fabulous Florets - Hybrid MDS card
May 24, 2011
You may have heard me speak of "Hybrid MDS" cards before... that simply means that I do some of the work in My Digital Studio (MDS) and the rest of the project is done with Stampin' Up! catalog products.
Here is an example of one of my recent MDS Hybrid cards featuring the digital Fabulous Florets image, # 124110, from the Summer Mini catalog combined with the Flower Garden Embossing Folder, #123113, Beyond the Garden Designer Paper, #122342, and the new Postage stamp punch, #122344, with the Pretty Postage Stamp set, #123097, on a Daffodil Delight card.
Here is a closer look at the Top Note Die embossed with the Flower Garden embossing folder:
and here is how I did the colored in Fabulous Floret images in My Digital Studio:
If you want to see a video on this technique, leave me a comment.. I'll work on that when I get back from the Stampin' Up! Cruise.

Would definitely want to see the tutorial on these flowers. Also, does your DVD tutorial show how to print MDS without sending to SU for printing (for one off scenarios?)

Patty - I love your MDS tutorials. They are one of the only reasons I even use MDS! I'd like to see one on this as well.

I'd love to see a video on how you made the flowers for your hybrid card. Thanks for the video on making your signature for your blog. I copied it with a few changes since it was my first attempt. Your directions were flawless.
