Floral Stamp A Stack cards - part 1
June 27, 2011
This months Stamp a Stack class featured floral cards... most of the stamps and accessories are found in the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini catalog...
This card features the FLOWER GARDEN Embossing Folder (#123113) and the BEYOND THE GARDEN Designer Paper (#122342).
When I cut the strip of DSP, and flipped it over, I saw that I loved BOTH SIDES (does that EVER HAPPEN TO YOU??)... so I designed 2 cards using the same basic technique. One features Pacific Point Cardstock (#111350) and the other features Peach Parfait (#119794).
Directions for the embossed flower:
1. using a 1/4 sheet of Whisper White Cardstock, run it throught BIG SHOT with the FLOWER GARDEN EMBOSSING FOLDER
2. flip it to the "wrong side" and sponge Daffodil Delight ink all over.
3. using a Sponge Dauber, add small areas of Melon Mambo ink in the flower centers - use a light touch.. you don't need much ink for this step
4. tear Whisper White and layer onto card with Snail

great card!!! I really hate it when i like both sides of a doublesided paper. I just have to buy more of it so I can use both sides.

I am LOVING these cards, Patty, and I just love the embossing folder!! You can do so much with it, I like sanding it a little bit too.
Shirley K. THANKS!
