About today's Stampin' Up! Fabric Bears.... All I can say is
CUTENESS!!!!!
When Sharon and Ellen came over to stamp a few months ago, Sharon brought the supplies to make these OH MY GOSH ADORABLE FABRIC BEARS!!!
HOW TO make the bears:
Use the Scallop circle die (#113468, pg 222 or HERE online), and the Scallop Circle #2 die (#113469, pg 222 or HERE online), and your Big Shot, and cut 6 of the smallest scallop, 1 medium and 1 large scallop with Stampin' Up! fabric for each bear:
You will do the following steps to each scallop circle, stuffing them with cotton balls or batting:
{click photo to view larger}
then you should have 8 stuffed fabric balls:
With a hot glue gun, attach the medium fabric ball onto the large fabric ball (like you are going to make a snowman) then add the 6 small balls for legs, arms and ears:
Don't worry if your fabric balls are a little lumpy and funny lookin' like mine... you can "shape" them with your fingers to encourage them to look rounder.
embellish your bear with Stampin' Up! accessories as you wish.. you can see they are pretty small.... these are Stampin' Up! paper snips next to my bear:
The original inspiration came from Shelli's blog here. And then you can read more details and see more photos on Lynn Pratt's blog here.
thanks Ellen and Sharon for a super fun crafty day!
