Don't you just LOVE it when God puts a new friend in to your life and you just feel soooo blessed!?

Well, Laura and her husband Jeff are 2 of those new friends... and Laura brought me a thoughtful gift and a darling ornament yesterday.. I just needed to share it AND HER FABULOUS TIP WITH YOU!

Laura ornament 2She used a glittery snowflake from a big box store and then layered it with a Paper medallion (see this video) made with the Simply Scored tool, and a Stampin' Up! punched snowflake with Silver Glimmer Paper AND (my favorite) an Antique Brad in the center!

NOW>> here is Laura's fabulous tip... so that you don't get glitter EVERYWHERE from the glittery ornament, spray it with a fixative or acrylic spray!!  OH MY GOSH>> is that not the best tip ever??  And I don't even know if she knows that I do NOT LIKE loose glitter everywhere!

Way to go Laura! :)

Love this creation. I am less a fan of papercrafting items other than cards, but this one works wonderfully for me! In checking out your medallion wreath video I could be a fan. I love folds, so medallions could become a more frequent flier in my papercrafting. Isn't it such a blessing when God brings those special people to our lives!
