Happy 4th of July Holiday!
Each June we enjoy attending the local County Fair... we usually go sometime around our anniversary... just something fun we like to get out and do... this year we went on our actual 26th anniversary (last week).. thought you might enjoy celebrating the 4th of July holiday with some fun, "Americana" photos from our visit to the fair!

we sat on the grass and watched RICK SPRINGFIELD in concert... does that bring back memories for anyone? He played in the amphtheater and we watched on the big screen on the grass behind the stage:
and i LOVE taking photos of the garden displays!!

It's been a long time since I attended the Alameda County Fair. I once lived in Livermore. Your pictures are beautiful. TFS.

Rick Springfield was the first concert I ever went to in Jr. High..wow that was a long time ago. Great Memories.

I guess I will have to take pics of my brother and I sitting on my deck stringing beans and my kitchen with the 42 cans of green beans 8 canned today. Tomorrow Shannon is sitting up his turkey fryer rack with the gas tank to can more outside. We tried that today but we could bcause of the thunder storms.
On that thought. Pray for our area.....and surrounding areas and states as electric workers as the work fervently and tirelessly to restore power from Friday nights wind storm. Still over 100,000 w/out power and about 50,000 in our area. We r blessed to have ours.

Oh I can't wait for our fair! 3 weeks!!! These are beautiful photos!!!! AND... Your hubby is freakishly tall like mine! ;) Never noticed until I saw you side by side. LOL
