Stampin' Up! 2013

Spring Catalog ideas

in the tour this month!!

You have probably joined me after visiting Jason's blog, and you can click on the "next blog" link at the bottom of the post to continue on the tour.

I REALLY Love the new Soda Pop Tops from Stampin' Up!.. you'll find them on pg 24 of the Spring catalog, (order code #129388).  I thought I'd show you a few ways I've used the Soda Pop Tops on my card projects.

This card features the Chalkboard Technique done in My Digital Studio, mounted on a Basic Gray card.

Chalkboard amazing soda pop 1

This is the small size Soda Pop Top.. you will get 8 small and 8 large Pop Tops in your package.

I've used DSP from the Parker's Patterns pack (#131021) and Tea for Two (#129311), as well as the 1/2" circle punch, 7/8" scallop circle, and the 1-1/4" scallop circle punch.

Chalkboard amazing soda pop 3

You can see that they have a raised edge when you take them out of the package, and I've flattened mine in the Big Shot.  If you have not done that before, you will find instructions in my videos.. click here to view the video.

Simpy hello soda pop tops

Above I have paired up some Soda Pop Tops with My Digital Studio artwork inserts and some FREE Sale a Bration Happy Hello cards!  I used the fun Pop-Up Posies flowers (pg 18 Spring catalog, #131395) to give extra pops of color.

Enjoy the rest of the tour as you visit my friend Lisa's Blog.

Patty, once again, you didn't disappoint us with your inspiration...the Happy Hello card set, soda pop tops & MDS to make such great ideas.

KT

Patty, I think I just found another favorite blog! I love your ideas and creativity. As one of my fellow crossline says you will become part of my "stalking" time of other demonstrators on the web!!!! Loved your ideas, my upline Amber Wilson, had a recognition for her group and one of the things she had us use for over the top make and takes was with the soda pop tops, I was totally disentrhalled with the idea of them, but now that I know how to flatten them like she had us do, I have a whole different attitude towards them!!! Thank you for your ideas, I too must learn how to use MDS, just would rather have paper in my hands rather than fingers on a keyboard!!!

Cindy Elam

Your hybrid cards are simply awesome! I love the chalkboard technique especially!

Lisa Martz

Patty...you just keep coming up with cute ideas using those notes from the SAB brochure! I have been stocking up on those and it is your fault! I'm also stocking up on pop tops! I really hope those stay in the catalog!

Linda Bartolucci

Love your hybrid chalkboard card! Would you mind sharing the downloads and fonts you used?
