WELCOME to the August 2013
Control Freaks
Blog Tour!!!
We are excited to bring you
Samples from the
Stampin' Up!
Holiday Catalog!
You have probably reached me via Mindy Backes' great blog here... and if not, be sure to travel backwards on the tour and visit her! :)
This Cute LIttle Treat Bag is one of the new Muslin Bags from the Holiday Catalog. We made this at my Luv 2 Stamp Group meeting on Saturday.
It is easy to use the stencils from the Build a Banner kit.. just mask off if you only want a couple rows like I did here.
I just used regular Pumpkin Pie Classic ink, because I didn't think this project would need to hold up in the wash or anything... if you need it more permanent, be sure to use Staz On ink or acrylic paints.
FEATURED PRODUCTS:
Muslin Bag #132180
Pumpkin Pie Chevron Ribbon #130015
Halloween Bash Stamp set #130577 / 130580
Build a Banner kit #133507 (for the stencils)
My 2nd project features my FAVE new PUNCH>>> the Chevron Border punch!!
-----------------------------------------------
I had the unique opportunity to mail a birthday card to Wendy's grandpa who was turning 90.. I wanted something masuline but still fun... Here is what I came up with featuring the NEW Chevron Border Punch.
I thought it was kind of a good blend of masculine colors and textures and shapes.. nothing too frilly... I think the Chevron Border Punch is a great touch for masculine cards... don't you?

Wow...love that card. Elegant background. The color combination ROCKS. Love everything about it.
The muslin bags are such a cute addition. Love how they are all being stamped.
