I took a photo of my Stampin' Up! Color Coach for the cover and then embellished with Chevron Ribbon and some In Color Embellishments.
Of course the old magazines were in Black and White.. and I'd never cut those up anyway... but I always find it fun to look through them and look at the designs and ads!
My friend Cindee suggested that the weekly ads in the news paper from places like Target or department stores are also great sources of photo/color inspiration... what other sources will YOU USE to create your Color Inspiration Journal?

Patty! That is SO creative! I'm so drawn to color & color combinations; have been since I was quite young (I always longed for the huge box of crayola crayons with the sharpener built into the back). This is such a great idea; thanks for the inspiration.
