Happy Thanksgiving - Counting my Blessings!
November 28, 2013
CHECK HERE TOMORROW FOR MY BLACK FRIDAY SPECIAL!
When I reflect on all the blessings God has given me, of course I think of the greatest gift of all, His Son, and then I naturally think of my family and friends!
I am so blessed.. I have the best family and the most caring and wonderful friends! Our dearest friends, who are basically like family, are Joy and her family. You may remember I made Joy this banner recently. Her granddaughter, Ashley, is close to our son's age and they have grown up together since they were 3 and 5 years old. Ashley is like a part of our family and many people think I'm her mom when we are out together (which is often!).
This week Ashley celebrated her 20th birthday and we all went out to eat at Outback Steakhouse.. yum! One of the gifts we gave her was this GIFT CARD HOLDER key ring ... 4 small envelopes, each containing a gift card to one of her fave places.
I made the little envelopes with the ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD and Stampin' Up! Designer Paper.
I left one side open to slip in the gift cards then punched a hole at the top of each one and slipped them all onto a ring. I decorated each one with fun embellishments for Ashley.
Ashley and her boyfriend Josh... opening her gifts.
Ashley,.. we are SO very grateful for you! You are amazing!
If you would like to see a video tutorial for this project, I'm happy to do one.. just leave me a comment and let me know if you would like me to do that.
