Hexagon Hive Heart Shaped Card

 

Hexagons are HOT!

Have you noticed how trendy they are in the crafting and decorating world? I am SUPER EXCITED to share this Hexagon Hive Heart card with you today!  I shared this with Cindee and Lisa this week at our monthly stamping day, and they loved it!  I got the idea from my customer Cathi Diener. She created hers with the Hexagon Embossing Folder, and I did mine with the Hexagon Hive Framelit.

This fun heart card features the Stampin' Up! Hexagon Hive framelit and heart framelit, die cut with the Big Shot, and the fun bright Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper (DSP), from the Occasions Catalog.

I know.. you are thinking.. wait.. what?  How can a Hexagon be a Heart!?

I've got the step by step tutorial for you below!

We added a layer of Fancy Foil Siver Vellum over the printed Fresh Prints Paper for the background, to soften the background print a little and to add another element of hearts!
