I hope you enjoy this card I made for a Control Freak Group Swap I participated in.. we each designed and made a card using Occasions Catalog products. I selected Peaceful Petals as my stamp set.

As I was coloring in the flowers with my Blender Pen, I thought you might like to see the process I used for coloring...

Step 1:  Stamp the flower in your choice of color (I used Calypso Coral ink and Whisper White cardstock)

Step 2:  Press the lid of the pad down onto the closed pad

Step 3:  Dip the tip of your Blender pen into the ink in the lid of the pad and pick up some color

Step 4:  (below) start by coloring in the dark areas where you know the ink needs to be the most intense (repeat as necessary)

Step 5:  Dip your Blender Pen into the ink again but "scribble off" some of the dark ink onto your grid paper and color in the lighter areas of the petals

Step 6:  leave some areas white, for highlights and a more realistic look

Step 7: cut out the flowers and stamp and cut out leaves as well

These were my swaps for the Control Freaks.. I always enjoy this swap.. they are amazing stampers!
