More Baby Cards with the Stampin' UP! Owl Punch
April 19, 2014
Do you remember this cute baby girl card I shared with you a few days ago?
Well, now check out more cute ideas I played with when I made the baby girl cards! I made a baby boy card using the same Owl punch but with just a little snip you can turn the dresses into overalls!! How cute are these!? The fun High Tide designer paper from Stampin' UP! (pg 24 Occasions catalog) has fun little manly designs for this card!
Boy and Girl card versions:
One thing I also tried on the baby girl dress cards instead of the ruffled ribbon (above), was to make little bloomers with the Tea Lace paper doilies! (#129399).
Just place the punched out "vest" piece from the Owl punch onto the doily, and then trim the doily so that it looks like little bloomers!

Patty, this are as cute as they can be!!! The Owl Punch is one of the BEST punches from SU, I'm so darn happy I invested in it some years ago. I have seen so many wonderful cards done with each of it's parts. It even got me out of a jam!! I needed to make a birthday card for a little 7 year old boy who's mom works with one of my daughters. When she asked her to ask me if I could possibly make a card with a Lego theme for Matthew I said yes immediately. When I was cutting the paper for this card I realized, (to late) that I didn't have a small circular punch to punch out the little knobs on the Lego pieces. Well, I went to look for something to do this when my eyes rested on this fabulous punch. There it was, the part that is to punch the biggest circle for the eyes, oh I was so happy and this card was a hit at his party!!
Thank you for this adorable ideas for this super cute little dresses.
Happy Easter to you and your family.
Hugs.
