This is my Back to Black Feather Card for Sketch CCC06 featuring the Back to Black DSP found on page 187 in the Stampin' Up! Catalog.

I know that coloring on the Back to Black designer Paper is a really hot trend right now, and I didn't want to forget to try it, so I grabbed my Stampin' Write markers and colored right on the black and white feather print! You can also do this with Blendabilities if you want to blend colors nicely!

I colored a small piece of the Designer paper and layered it onto a slightly larger piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock, tied the ribbon around those top layers, then put that onto one of the Stampin' Up! Whisper White note cards.

Here is our sketch challenge this week.. it's a color Challenge:

I used the above 3 colors and my Bonus Color was one of the new In Colors: Tangelo Twist.

I had never made paper feather before but I thought this card kind of needed a couple, so I used a technique we learned about earlier this month at the Stampin' Up! convention and "Snipped" little bits off the sides of my paper feathers with the tip of the Banner Punch... ok.. HOW COOL!
