World Card Making Day trip to see Ruth

What did you do to celebrate World Card Making Day on Oct. 4th?

I had the GREAT pleasure of visiting my DEAR friend Ruth Bingle in So. California and attending her Stampin' Up! meeting!! We had so much fun swapping cards, making cards and chatting about the Stampin' Up! opportunity and how it has changed my life over the last 19+ years. Did you know that I used to be so shy I didn't even want to ask for a refill on my drink in a restaurant? Yep.. Stampin' Up! has CHANGED my life! :)

This Hello Fall card was one of our Make & Take projects that Ruth prepped for us to make. I love this card.. so gorgeous!! It features the For All Things stamp set (pg 41 Holiday catalog, #135152 / 135155), Autumn Wooden Elements (pg 46 Holiday Catalog, #135846) and Crushed Curry Striped ribbon #134555. (card idea from Vicky Milyard)

Give Thanks was our 2nd project. I love how you can use the Wondrous Wreath stamp for all seasons... look how gorgeous it is on a fall card!! (Wondrous Wreath bundle with matching framelits found on pg 9 in the Holiday catalog, #137624). (Card idea from Debbie Henderson)

We also made the JINGLE card and ornament that I previously shared with you HERE. Ruth asked if I would share that project with the group. She prepped the supplies and I gave instructions to the group. Everyone loved the heavy-weight Under the Tree paper and the Little Letters we used on these projects.
