Another True Confession... (yes, I share these with you from time to time): I had to pull out my Stampin' Up! catalog to see if the Open Sea stamp set was really still current!! I knew I had kept it because it's awesome and I'll probably never sell it... but, YAY! it's still current so I used it!

Oh and if you are wondering about that GREAT thick twine.. it's from the Gratitude for Days kit... it's on the Clearance Rack here! Isn't it the perfect touch for this card!?

On the card above I used the Brick and Wood patterns in the paper stack and stamped "It's your Day" from the set called Big On You (pg 24 Occasions catalog) and then added the star clips from the Basic Hodgepodge clips assortment.

Another great "guy" birthday card.. this one is simply stamped onto the wood/pine pattern and put on to an Early Espresso folded card... could not be quicker.  The Greeting comes from the Balloon Bash stamp set on pg 13 in the Occasions catalog (stamped in Early Espresso ink).

Thanks so much for posting these cards. Very pretty Patty... The masculine cards are the hardest for me to make.

Patty- I LOVE these cards! they are so different from the usual SU style. They really are cool, not cute and would appeal to a variety of people, not just guys. Thanks for the great ideas. Some of your rose photos would make nice backgrounds for this style.

What great guy cards you made! This was one bundle that I truly had no interest in and here you go and make these beautiful cards. So I really need this bundle now and it's on my next order;-) You are one talented lady! Thanks so much!

I love them all! I have two sons, a brother, and husband, so I need masculine cards all the time. Ideas for them are so limited, and I think I have used every one I have found. Thanks for showing us these, your creativity is terrific. I am an almost daily blog follower, you have so many wonderful ideas.

Sue Mac Donald

thank you for sharing a wonderful idea; at first I really didn't like the stack, but now, so many possibilities.
