Cheerful Critters Chalkboard Tags
January 16, 2015
Whether you are getting ready for Valentine's Day already, or just need a cute bookmark, tag or sweet little note card, the Cheerful Critters are just the perfect size for a tag! The Cheerful Critters stamp set is found on page 14 of the 2015 Stampin' UP! Occasions Catalog or is available in my online store. Need a catalog? email me: [email protected]
I stamped these with the new Colorbox Chalk Ink pads to give that trendy Chalkboard look.
I added the tags to Stampin' Up! note cards, but you could create these Chalkboard tags and use them as a bookmark or a package tag too!
Step 1:
Apply Stacked with Love Paper (pg 5) to Stampin' UP! Whisper White note cards and then add Stacked with Love Washi Tape (pg 5). I also added some Crisp Canteloupe Washi Tape from the Sweet Dreams Washi Tape package (pg 39) (shown at left)
(all products available in my ONLINE store - see product photos at the bottom of this post for links to order each product)
Step 2:
Cut Chalkboard Paper (pg 25) to 2"x4" and punch tops with your choice of Tag Topper Punches (L to R: Scalloped Tag Topper, Angled Tag Topper and Ornate Tag Topper)
Stamp tags using ColorBox Chalk inks (pg 25) and the Cheerful Critters stamp set. I also used some sentiments from the Hello Life (pg 6) and You Plus Me sets (pg 5).
Sponge Whisper White Craft Ink around the edges. Heat set with Heat Tool.
Step 3:
Select coordinating ribbon colors to add to the top of each tag. I used the Free Sale a Bration "Best Year Ever" ribbon (free choice with your $50 order)
It's a fun chalkboard look, don't you think? Something different!!
