Occasions 2015 Catalog Workshop Samples

On Saturday I enjoyed a wonderful day presenting a Stampin' Up! Workshop for my friend Rita and her group. We've been stamping together for MANY years.. gosh.. not sure how many.. maybe at least 8 or 10 years, Rita?
I brought the supplies for these 3 cards for the guests to make at the Workshop.
Left to Right:
Lotus Blossom Card - see this post for video and more instructions - we added some Stacked with Love Washi tape to the card and also sponged our own background paper with the FREE Irresistibly Yours Sale a Bration paper (see this post)

This amazing Lotus Blossom flower stamp is by far the most popular FREE Sale a Bration choice item among my customers this year. I just love how you can use one ink pad and get WOW results!! We made this card at Rita's workshop .. I brought the Stacked with Love Washi Tape, too and we loved the black POP it brought to the cards! The cards above that we made at the workshop were stamped on the Whisper White Note Cards using the Calypso Coral ink pad for the flowers and Pear Pizzazz for the stem and for sponging the leaf design from Irresistibly Yours (a free Sale a Bration item too!). Stampers had their choice of ribbon.. left to right; Sale a Bration Best Year Ever ribbon, Calypso Coral Seam Binding and Wild Wasabi Seam Binding.

After I got home from the workshop I decided to play with stamping the Lotus Blossom flower in more than one ink color.. so the samples below were stamped with Calypso Coral for the 1st layer, then Strawberry Slush for the 2nd layer and then either Daffodil Delight, Crisp Cantaloupe or Strawberry Slush for the 3rd layer... stuning results, don't you think!?

I was thrilled to see Lacey at the workshop.. I had not seen her for a few years! She selected the Lotus Blossom set as her free Sale a Bration gift!! :)

There is an awesome drum set at Rita's house... each year it's our tradition to take a group shot at the drums... did you know it's my secret fantasy to someday be a drummer?? Yep!

Hi Patty, I have a quick question. What do you use to adhere the Hello to the card? Please don't tell me it's something that I do not already have. LOL. Thank you!

Hi Patty, I LOVE these cards.I'm going to make all 3 of these... BEAUTIFUL.......... This is for Patty Little. The hello is stamped on with the stamp set Hi There.
