Lovely Amazing You Heart Card

Last month when I was stamping with Cindee, we decided to use this Stampin' Up! card idea from Pinterest to create our own version of this Lovely Amazing You card.
As you can see, we changed it up a bit, but used the basic idea.

I love how we sponged the Irresistibly Yours striped paper with Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo.. do you love the ombre look?

To compliment the glossy stripes, we heat embossed the "you make my heart happy" sentiment with Silver Embossing Powder! CUTE!
I also sponged a piece of the polkadot Irresistibly yours paper, then punched out a heart with the Sweetheart Punch and also used a piece on the inside of the card:
The card on the left is Cindee's version and the card on the right is mine.

Both are beautiful cards! I love the idea saving the thread from the sequins and using that also on your projects. My next order has sequins coming will have to do this! I also LOVE finishing that inside of my cards. Makes them extra special.

Wonderful cards. I actually had the same idea with the sequins except I got my idea when I was making my Perpetual Birthday Calendar as I was removing some of the gold sequins from the cord, I thought, don't throw this away, it will come in handy at some point! GMTA Cindee! Way to go you guys. Thanks for sharing.
