When our son Jason was little, we loved Halloween.. it was so exciting letting him select a costume, go trick or treating in the neighborhood, participate in the school Halloween parties and the parade... I always decorated our home for Halloween and fall, bought WAY too much candy (on purpose!?).. but now that he's 24, I don't do as much decorating and we hardly have any trick or treaters anymore, so I don't do as much for Halloween as I used to.
I do love all of the fun memories thought... Do you think he was just too cute?? I do!
Did you have a favorite Halloween costume as a kid? or a favorite that your kids or grandkids wore? Leave me a comment :) I'd love to hear about it.
My favorite costume as a child was a wedding dress that my mom made for me and she would cut me a bouquet of mums from her garden and I would carry that with me - I felt SO SPECIAL!!!! I still associate the smell of mums with that beautiful bridal costume, with Halloween and my mom :)
I found a picture of a scrapbook page I made with that costume... wow.. that was Halloween 50 years ago!
Well, I got a little side-tracked with a walk down memory lane there, but what I was going to share with you is the really cute Halloween Stampin' UP! Witching Decor Hat Project Kit!

Congrats on reaching the $1M goal.
I love Halloween, but don't remember any of my costumes as a child. As an adult my fave was when pregnant with my oldest and I went to a party as a pregnant rabbit. He was born on Nov. 6th.
I made them for my oldest son. My fave was the dinosaur T-Rex, I made. Then for my youngest first, I found a cute sweatshirt that said "Braggin' Dragon" loved it as I collect dragons. That year I made the oldest a Star Trek Next Generation costume. He loved it.

Good morning Patty, CONGRATS on your 1 MILLION... That is soooo exciting. I really don't remember dreesing up for Halloween till I was a young teenager and we didn't buy costumes ,we just wore ragged clothes that we tore and fixed up ourselves. I made all of my childrens costumes though. I don't know if you remember the cartoon The shirttales or something like that. I made the Ricky the Raccoon costume and the Panda costume out of fur. LOTS of work but they were adorable. My girls always came in first place. Then with my son he was a Ninja. I made so many costumes over the years. A frog, Wonder Woman, witches, clowns. You name it I made it. But now all my kids are grown up with their own children now. I really miss those years. Thanks for sharing the video. It really is adorable. Have a great day and now you might need some rest, lol

Congratulations Patty!
When my son Michael was 3 or 4 I made him a dinosaur costume. It had a long tail and by the time I stuffed the tail, it weighed almost as much as my son. He was the hit of the neighborhood.

Congratulations Patty! What an amazing accomplishment - WOW!
Your bride costume is amazing. Our costumes were always homemade. My favorite was a purple gown that was converted from one of my mom's dance dresses. And, I got to wear my mother's fur stole with it!

Congratulations on another $1M year!
As a little girl, I loved Lucille Ball (still do!), so I was so excited to get a Lucy costume. But just before Halloween, I got sick and wasn't able to go out Trick-or-Treating. I was SO sad, but my mom let me wear the costume anyway, and I helped pass out candy.

Hi Patty,
I am so very happy for you. What a wonderful accomplishment. I wanted to tell you thank you for the beautiful thank you card I received from you, and to let you know I received the paper share. There are some beautiful products for crafting with. Thank you. I love your picture of the wedding dress. Smell is a huge emotional trigger. When I smell chokecherry jelly, it always takes me back to my grandmother's house when I was just 6. We live in the country and we didn't have costumes, but those awful plastic masks, that when worn one could not see well or breath well. I remember falling in a ditch when out trick or treating. Halloween is my favorite holiday. Love seeing all the kids all dressed up. Thanks again, Patty, and congratulations. I am just tickled pink for you.
Love and best wishes,
Karren

My favorite for Halloween was to be a hobo. Flannel shirt, blue jeans, pillow case for treat bag slung over the shoulder; so easy and so comfortable! As I got older, the patches etc were more elaborate. I love Halloween to this day. Congratulations Pattty on your FIRST million!

Congrats on this HUGE milestone! My favorite costume were ones that my twin granddaughters wore (for a couple of years!) I sewed the costumes (so very easy) and they were Candy Corn kernels.
