Happy Birthday to Shannon!

Many of you have probably seen this #imbringingbirthdaysback hashtag on Facebook over the past several months, and today we are celebrating Shannon's birthday, the creator of this movement to Bring Birthdays Back!! Shannon felt that wishing people happy birthday on facebook was not allowing us the opportunity to do what we do best... create and send cards!
So, Shannon, thank you for encouraging all of us to Bring Birthdays back by sending a special birthday card in the mail, and here's to your special day and to a year filled with many blessings!
I mailed this stamped card to Shannon last week and I hope she received it in time to help celebrate her special day!
I used the beautiful hostess stamp set called "Best Thoughts". You'll find it on pg 180 of the current annual catalog. Did you know you can purchase this set with $10 of your hostess dollars? Shannon stamps her #imbringingbirthdaysback stamp on the envelope of all the birthday cards she mails out to hundreds of people! So, I did the same :)
I think I may have overdone it on her card.. at the last minute I stamped the swirly border around the piece of whisper white cardstock... but I hope she still likes it! The swirly border is from the fabulous Tin of Cards stamp set (see it here).

Hi Patty, I was so excited. When you posted this on FB I relpied I'd love to have her address to mail her a birthday card and she gave me her address.... How cool is that????? Have a great weekend. Going to the movies today to see Mother's Day.
