When working on my stamped project for today, I noticed that the Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper has nearly the above color combo, so I started with a piece of the floral paper from that package (#141654, pg 173) and then I altered it by adding Rich Razzleberry flowers and Mint Macaron leaves to it!
The JUST A NOTE greeting is found on page 49 of the 2016 Stampin' Up! annual catalog in the Flourishing Phrases stamp set. I stamped it on Whisper White with Rich Razzleberry ink, and die cut it with the Layering Ovals framelits. The circles are all die cut with the Layering Circles framelits with the Fancy Frost paper and the Blooms & Bliss paper.
Below, you can see the transformation from the Blooms and Bliss color combo to the Color Fusers September Color Challenge combo!!
I loved adding all the layers of cut out flowers to this card, on top of die cut circles and a scalloped circle. The flowers are all from a stamp set called Fresh Fruit, on pg 149 of the annual Stampin' UP! catalog, #141770 in the online store. The leaves are from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set, found on pg 49, #141531 or 141534 in the online store.
I stamped and cut out all the flowers with Paper Snips. Some flowers were stamped on Whisper White cardstock, and as you can see above, some were stamped on the Blooms & Bliss paper!
My finished piece is mounted on Mint Macaron and Sweet Sugarplum cardstock.
Lots of lovely Enamel Shape circle dots in the flower centers finish off the color combo.
Don't forget, Enamel Shapes are ON SALE THROUGH WED. Sept. 7th!! CLICK HERE.
Wasn't that fun!? Which designer paper will you alter? Pick one, and give it a try, or try our Sept. Color Challenge!
