I was in a watercoloring mood, so I created the background of this top fold card with Stampin' Up! watercolor paper, reinkers and my AquaPainter.  The folded card is a Stampin' Up! In Color: Sweet Sugarplum.

I wet the watercolor paper, turned it over and wet the other side, then added color from the drops of reinker using my AquaPainter.  By wetting both sides, the paper doesn't curl :)

I let the colors bleed together and enjoyed the results!

Note: Sweet Sugarplum on watercolor paper (it's a vanilla color) is brown-ish compared to putting it on white.. but it's still pretty!

I stamped the Hello stamp from the Vertical Garden set (new in the 2017 Occasions catalog, page 22, #142996) in Sweet Sugarplum on Very Vanilla cardstock.  It's a 2 step stamp, so it gives you that shadow effect!

Here is a fun crafting tip for you ... after cutting the pieces of Stampin' Up! watercolor paper for my cards, I ended up with strips left over.  I dabbed on some water and some color and then die cut the flowers using up the scraps!!  How great is that!?

I added the die cut flowers from the Succulent framelits set (pg 21 in the Occasions catalog, #142757) with glue dots to my card and topped off each one with the gold Metallic Enamel shape.
