Darling Sending Love Valentine Card Ideas
January 14, 2017
It feels like we just had Christmas (ok, we DID!) and can you believe Valentine's Day is only ONE MONTH away!? Wow!
You still have time to order some fun new crafting supplies to make Valentine cards, goodie bags, tags or decorations!
I created these 2 Valentine cards using the Sealed with Love bundle and the Jar of Love bundle from Stampin' UP!. Bundles are always priced at a money-saving 10% discount, so don't miss that when shopping in my Stampin' UP! store!
The Sealed with Love bundle is new in the 2017 Occasions catalog, and you'll probably recognize the Jar bundle from the annual catalog.
The Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack from Stampin' Up! is found on page 15 of the 2017 Occasions catalog. I know you will love this stack!! The red and white patterns will take you through the whole year for your crafting projects, not just Valentine's!
Above & Below: For this top fold Real Red Valentine card, I cut a piece of Sending Love paper at 4" x 5-1/2" to cover almost all of the front of the card. Then I used a strip about 3" x 6" to cut the heart border with the unique framelit die cut in the Love Notes Framelit set! See below for more info on this die and how it cuts these 3-d hearts.
I stamped some Real Red hearts from the Every Occasion stamp set (pg 110 Annual Stampin' Up! catalog) inside the Jar stamped image, then die cut the jar, and added more hearts from the Sealed with Love Bundle (pg 14 Occasions catalog) on Stampin' Dimensionals.
The stamps on the tag are all from the Sealed with Love stamp set, and the dies are from the Love Notes framelits (also sold as a bundle).
Below: This is how the fun heart border is die cut for these cards:
Below: I noticed this adorable little heart border in the Everyday Jars framelit set while I had it out, so I thought I'd die cut some Real Red hearts to add to the jars of hearts. :)
Valentine Card version #2:
Above and Below: for the 2nd card, I flipped the die cut and put it on the left side of the card, and did a polkadot theme with the Sending Love paper stack. I love polkadots!
The darling tiny envelope and "love note" are also from the Sealed with Love bundle!

This post inspired me to make two valentine shaker cards using the little hearts from that framelit in Everyday Jars. I am giving them to my two oldest daughters. Thanks, Patty!
