How to use the Stampin' Up! embossing paste - video tutorial

I had loads of fun yesterday demonstrating how to use the new Stampin' Up! Embossing Paste and Party Pattern Masks to create so many different types of backgrounds!! We had a Luv 2 Stamp Group (demonstrator) all-day event and learned so many wonderful new tips, ideas, techniques, and saw tons of new products! I'll have lots of blog posts coming up with more details soon!

Today, I wanted to share my Embossing Paste presentation with you!  The Pattern Party mask package comes with 4 masks, you can see them below: clouds, bricks, diamond pattern and medallion.  I made several background sample ideas with them for inspiration! You'll see those in the video!

I took these display boards to the meeting and did a demonstration showing how to use the embossing paste, masks, palette knives and silicone mat, and all participants were able to create some backgrounds with the embossing paste.  I think they enjoyed learning how to use it!

Patty, Just watched your video on the paste. I wanted to tell you how easy to follow you and clear the video was. I didn't think much of the paste until I saw this. Thanks so much!

Hi Patty, I enjoyed your video on the embossing paste. I am anxious to try it. I love the medallion. So pretty.
Most of all, I liked your tip for using the top of the Sheltering Tree for the sand!! I have never been able to get sand to look just right and I just love how you did it!
Thank-you for everything you share with us.

Hi Patty! This is a great tutorial. Such beautiful samples and you make this technique look easy.

Thanks also for creating the Ribbon of Courage set. I absolutely love it. I make cards for veterans, and I can't wait to use it for them. Plus, I do a Relay for Life event each year, and it will be perfect for that, too!

I love your work and you always inspire me to create with your beautiful projects!

I pretty much figured out how to use the paste on my own but the video and your display boards are wonderful and lots of little tips too. I will be getting some of that stuff to play with soon. I also will be getting the Ribbon of Courage set. Thanks for all your inspiration!

Do you need to heat set the paste or does it dry quickly?
