Ribbon of Courage Z fold swap card

Last month our Luv 2 Stamp group of demonstrators joined another group lead by Gina Cardera and we had a wonderful, informative day-long event featuring new Stampin' UP! products, business tips, lunch, make & take projects, and more!!  One of the fun parts of a demonstrator gathering is a card swap.   A card swap means you make several of one card (usually with a particular theme), and you bring them and "swap" with other demonstrators.  It's a great way to go home with a ton of new ideas!

The theme for our July event card swap was using any NEW products in the new 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! catalog, so I elected to use the Ribbon of Courage set and Support Ribbon framelit bundle.  See MORE about this bundle HERE.

I couldn't decide if I liked the Powder Pink ribbon on the side of the card or not... ultimately I made the cards without the ribbon... what's your preference?

I made a Z fold card using thick whisper white cardstock, Blushing Bride cardstock, Flirty Flamingo, Calypso Coral and Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, and the Fresh Florals paper stack.  See below in this post for the cutting and scoring instructions.

Each flower center has a Clear Faceted Gem.. the perfect touch to give this card a little glitz!

I used Flirty Flamingo cardstock for the layering ovals scallop shapes that highlighted the die cut ribbons.  I stamped the ribbons in Flirty Flamingo ink and die cut them with the corresponding framelit.

Fun Crafting Tip!

Stick small punched pieces or small die cuts onto a roll of glue dots so that you don't lose them, and they are ready to go, and you can stick them right onto your project!

Here are some of the demonstrators who were swapping.. we had a BIG group, and enjoyed receiving amazing card ideas!

Good afternoonPatty,,,,,LOVE your cards, but I think I like them better without the ribbon on the side..... I think the ribbon is to much...... They are gorgeous Patty...... I havent sent my stamp set to you to autograph yet because I'm making some cards with it right now.... I have a few friends with cancer and it's soooo sad. What a horrible disease..... Have a great day...... It's raining here now in Pa.... We have been getting a good many thunderstorms the last week... Not complaining,,,, Cuts back the heat and I don't have to water my flowers......lol...... Thanks for sharing your gorgeous cards.
