Starbucks Gift Card Holder idea for Christmas

Gift Cards... it seems we all give them either at the holidays or during the year for birthdays, anniversaries, graduation, Christmas, etc., but it's fun to make them a little more personal and fancy than just handing them to the recipient in an envelope.

Today I have a gift card holder idea for you that is basically a side fold card with a little pocket inside and since this one features the Stampin' Up! Coffee Cafe bundle, it's the perfect holder for a Starbucks gift card.

Even though it's difficult to see in the photo, the lid is glossy white cardstock and it looks super cute in person!

Die Cutting for the Year of Cheer / Coffee Cafe Starbucks gift card holder idea for Christmas gift, by Patty Bennett with the Luv 2 Stamp Group

Tip.. use Tear & Tape or strong adhesive at the bottom and 2 sides of the small piece of Year of Cheer paper inside the card for the gift card pocket to ensure that it holds.

The card base is Thick Whisper White cardstock and the front snowflake design is found in the Year of Cheer designer paper pack.  The coffee cup is die cut from the Quilted Christmas designer paper pack.  The small hearts are die cut from the Support Ribbon framelits - sorry I left those off the supply list below.

Happiness... is stamped in Emerald Envy ink (to match the Emerald Envy ribbon) and it's found in the Coffee Cafe stamp set.

I loved the shimmery foil pattern in the Year of Cheer paper so I carried that through the theme of the card with the Champagne foil cup "wrapper" and the Foil snowflake!

Super darling idea, and I love how fancy it looks just from using foiled DSP. I can't wait until it's red cup season myself! :) Thanks for sharing - I can't wait to make up a few holders for different occasions to have on hand.

Loved making this gift card holder on Saturday. Glossy cardstock for the cup lid, genius.
