One of my favorite things in the Share What You Love suite is the Lovely Floral Embossing folder! It's included in the "Gotta Have it All" (bundle #3)!!  All the details are at the bottom of this post, and here are a few samples for you featuring this beautiful embossing folder and the other products in the Share What You Love Suite!

 

Each card base is 4-1/4" x 11" Mint Macaron cardstock embossed with the Lovely Floral embossing folder.  I added pieces of the Share What You Love designer paper, and on some cards I added the beautiful Pearlized Doilies.  Each card has stamped images from the Love What You Do stamp set.

Beautiful Day Butterfly & Flower Brusho Cards

 Create bold and colorful images using Brusho Crystal Colour pigments!!  I used the Stampin' UP! Beautiful Day stamp set, with its big, bold images, to highlight the Brusho coloring on these handmade cards today!

 

 

I sprinkled Brilliant Red, Prussian Blue and Yellow Brusho onto a scrap of watercolor paper, spritzed it with water, and when it was all dry, I stamped the butterfly image with Archival Black ink to the watercolor image.  I used my Stamparatus to do this... read on to see why! :)

 

So you may ask, WHY did you use the Stamparatus to stamp the butterfly? 

1.  because I'm stamping on watercolor paper, which is bumpy and porous

2.  because it's a pretty bold outline image

3.  because I knew I'd need to reink and restamp this this a few times to get it really solid black and the Stamparatus is the perfect way to ensure that it gets stamped in the right place!

 

 

 

I mounted the butterfly image with Stampin' Dimensionals onto my card.  The card base is Daffodil Delight, and I used 2 patterns from the Petal Passion black and white designer paper pack.  The gold accents are from the Painted with Love gold vinyl sticker collection.

 

 

Above & Below:  I stamped the flower image from the Beautiful Day stamp set with Versamark ink onto watercolor paper and heat embossed it with my heat tool.  When I painted it with the Brusho Crystal Colour pigments, the stamped outline resists the ink.  Quite magical!

Graceful Garden floral cards

 I'm sure you know I love roses!  I don't have any purple or lavender roses in my garden, but I colored this one with my Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends markers!  I stamped the beautiful rose image from the Graceful Garden stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock using my Memento black ink pad, then colored them!

 

 

I layered the colored rose onto an acetate sheet from the Petal Passion Memories & More card pack!  It's preprinted with the lovely white flowers.  Both pieces are layered onto a top fold Blackberry Bliss card base.  YES, Blackberry Bliss is coming back!! You'll be able to purchase it on June 1, 2018!!

 I sponged the edges of the Whisper White cardstock with a sponge dauber and the Rich Razzleberry ink pad.

 

 I love the Petal Passion Memories & More card kit!!!! I love fun surprised like this printed acetate sheet!! What a GREAT pack of crafting supplies!!

Stampin' Blends coloring tip:  Add some yellow (Daffodil Delight) to leaves, and then add green (old Olive).. it helps brighten and add highlights to leaves.

What is a paper share?  When you reserve a paper share with me, I will order ALL of the 12x12 and 6x6 packs of designer paper from the new Stampin' UP! catalog and cut them up, package and label them and mail each person a sample of ALL of the new sheets!!  This usually costs you about 1/4 the price of buying all the new papers. Then you have a sample of everything and can purchase your favorites from the new catalog!

1.  On May 5th, watch my blog and my customer newsletter for information about reserving your paper share

2.  Email me after reading all the details on May 5th and let me know you want to reserve your paper share

3.  Pay your Paypal invoice between May 24 and May 31, 2018

Sponge Daubers on Petal Passion Paper

 

Wow... you can color the beautiful Stampin' Up! Petal Passion Paper VERY quickly by using Sponge Daubers and ink pads!

I used lots and lots of yummy Stampin' Up! ink pads and my sponge daubers (see full color list in the product photos at the bottom of this post) and I had a blast coloring this paper super quickly!  I cut it into 4" x 5-1/4" pieces and added it to Flirty Flamingo folded card bases, then stamped the Ribbon of Courage ribbon stamp with Flirty Flamingo ink onto oval die cuts!  I added the "hugs" die cut from Lovely Words thinlits to each card.  I colored the "hugs" with Wink of Stella for some shimmer!!

Retiring Just Add Color Designer Paper Card Ideas

 Do you love to color?  I do!  Ever since I was a child, coloring has been such a fun activity for me! I've advanced from my box of 64 Crayola Crayons to fun coloring tools like Stampin' Blends, Blender Pens, Stampin' Write Markers, Brusho, Watercoloring, and more! 

My cards today are colored with Stampin' Up! Stampin' Blends markers on the fun "Just Add Color" designer paper from Stampin' Up!  It's RETIRING, and is only available while supplies last!

 

Above: the watering can sheet of 12x12 paper has delightful watering can designs and I loved coloring this 4"x5-1/4" piece for my card.  The Card base is the NEW Pineapple Punch (yellow) cardstock.. an upcoming  2018-2020 In Color available on June 1, 2018.

Below: I loved coloring all the leaves on this pattern with my Stampin' Blends, and adding yellow to the green leaves really makes them pop!  The greeting is from the Picnic With You stamp set, and stamped on a sticker from the Petal Passion Memories & More card pack. The leaf branch sticker is from the same card pack.  I've mounted it on one of the new In Colors called Grapefruit Grove, and onto a side fold thick Very Vanilla card base.

Let's chat about the Stampin' Up! Color Revamp for 2018!

Retiring Colors

New Colors

and "Returning" favorite colors!! yay!!

 

Below, you will see a graphic with the retiring Stampin' Up! colors that are going away, as well as the 5 new In Colors and 16 new core colors.  These new colors will be available on June 1st with the new catalog in the new style in pad, or, to demonstrators starting on May 2nd.  If you would like to join my Luv 2 Stamp Group nation-wide team of demonstrators and get your new colors early, click here for more info!

 

Important information about the 5 retiring In Colors listed above and the 13 retiring colors listed at the left:  The ink pads and ink refills (reinkers) are only guaranteed available through May 7, 2018.  The cardstock, ribbon and accessory items for these colors are available only while supplies last.

If you want to complete any of your color family collections in the current style ink pad for any of the retiring colors listed at left, please do so before May 7. The current style ink pad will not longer be available when supplies run out, or after May 31, whichever comes first.

BELOW: the entirely new Stampin' UP! color collections starting on June 1, 2018.

You'll notice that Black, Vanilla and White are now in their own little group called "The Basics", which made way for 3 more colors to be added into the Neutrals family!! whohoo!! MORE COLORS!!!

Archival Black and Archival Gray will not be offered in the new catalog, so get your reinkers now!

I really can't believe that the Sweet & Sassy Heart framelits are retiring.. if you don't have them.. you NEED them!!  I used them to create these sweet floral Petal Garden 4x4 note cards!

After die cutting "lovely" from the Lovely Words thinlits in Berry Burst cardstock, I die cut the heart from Sweet & Sassy heart framelits in Whisper White and used my fine-tip glue pen to adhere them together before putting them on my card.

 

Craft Tip!

Use both the regular size Stampin' Dimensionals and the Mini Stampin' Dimensionals on the flower and leaf.  Perfect Fit!

 

I love this combo of Sweet Sugarplum, Berry Burst, Whisper White and Pear Pizzazz!

I cut 4x4 Sweet Sugarplum card bases for these Petal Garden flower cards.  I stamped Petal Palette flowers in Berry Burst ink and sponged Berry Burst ink with the sponge dauber on top of them (see this post) and fussy cut them with my Paper Snips, then stamped and punched leaves from the leaf punch and Painted Harvest stamp set.
