Friday, June 1st is the first day to order from the new catalog, and I think you'll enjoy these Varied Vases card ideas featuring several new Stampin' UP! products!
Above: I embossed a strip of NEW Grapefruit Grove cardstock with the NEW Lovely Floral Embossing folder, and layered it onto a 4"x5-1/4" piece of preprinted designer paper from the NEW Nature's Poem DSP pack. The focal point is stamped and punched with the Varied Vases bundle (stamp set and punch available as a money-saving 10% off bundle!).
I've listed the page numbers below for these new products in the new 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! catalog.
See that cute little scallop below the Grapefruit Grove piece? That's a border in the Delightfully Detailed laser-cut designer paper pack... see THIS POST for more info on that new paper! The base card is Crumb Cake cardstock. The focal point is stamped on a Stitched Shape circle framelit.
I think you will want to add these new Stampin' UP! products to your Shopping List for June 1st!
Above: In addition to the NEW Varied Vases bundle, and the Nature's Poem designer paper mentioned above, I added the super cute new Polka Dot Tulle ribbon! It's on pg 200, #146912. It also comes in Very Vanilla, but I used the Whisper White above! The base card is a Whisper White thick note card, and the focal point is die cut using the oval Stitched Shape framelit and the Nature's Poem designer paper.
The Vases Builder punch is so handy when punching out the vases! You can either stamp the vase first, then punch, or just punch the vase out of paper. Either way!! Mary Fish did an amazing job as the inspiration for this bundle!!!
Are you ready for the new catalog!?
All new products will be available around noon, MT, on Friday, June 1st!! yay!!!!!
Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek of these new Varied Vases bundle products!

Take a look at these new products from the 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! catalog in the Delightfully Detailed suite!
Today I am featuring the beautiful Delightfully Detailed laser-cut paper, the preprinted note cards, the polka dot tulle ribbon and the Share What You Love designer paper!
For the card above, I used the piece of Delightfully Detailed Laser-cut paper shown in the lower left corner below. I adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the Delightfully Detailed preprinted card front.
Add it to your Shopping List - new products available starting June 1st!
I also added some new Polka Dot Tulle ribbon to the card after placing the card front onto a folded Blackberry Bliss card base. The little flowers are fussy cut from the Share What You Love designer paper pack and added to the card with dimensionals. I stamped the thinking of you greeting using Memento Black ink onto a stitched shape framelit die cut, using the Rooted in Nature set.
Please watch the VIDEO BELOW for more info about the Delightfully Detailed Suite!
I am not sure why but it seems like when a stamp set or Stampin' Up! product goes on the retiring list, I immediately feel like "Oh No! I should have used it more!!" Anyone else feel like that?
Birthday Blooms was one of my FAVORITE stamp sets when it came out about 3 years ago.
I thought I'd stroll down memory lane and share a couple projects with you from 2015 featuring the Birthday Blooms set!
I wanted to figure out a way to REALLY get to know ALL of the new Stampin' UP! colors.. so I started by looking at each color group in the rainbow and making the cards below!
I used all of the colors minus the neutral grays, tans, browns and black.
I hope you find this look at the Stampin' Up! "color rainbow" helpful!
Step 1: Buy the assortment packs of cardstock from each color family (available 6/1/18 to customers)
Step 2: Cut all packs in 1/2 for card bases, and cut the other halves into 1/4 sheets.
Step 3: Check out which colors seem to be in the same "rainbow" color groups. Make piles.
Step 4: Create cards with all of the Stampin' UP! colors in "rainbow order" using the Painted Glass stamp set (rainbow), Love What You Do set (greeting), Rooted in Nature set (leaf and branch), White Polka Dot Tulle ribbon, and the stitched shape framelits and Layering Oval Framelits.
For this exercise, I wanted to see how each of the color groups worked together within their own color group.

Can you Guess what I am really excited about?? In the new 2018-2019 Stampin' Up! catalog, we will be able to purchase large note cards with envelopes, sized perfectly for the 4x6 Memories & More cards!!! yay! (find them on pg 194)
COMING SOON!!!
So why might this be so exciting? I have been wanting to use the beautiful detailed die cut image (below, from the Petal Passion Memories & More card pack), but there is just no way to cut it down and keep the entire image on a regular size card! But since I was able to preorder these 4x6 cards as part of my demonstrator preorder earlier this month, I am excited to be able to create a card with this die cut!
Above: I cut a piece of the Petal Garden 6x6 designer paper down to 4x6 with my Stampin' Trimmer, and then just used my fine tip glue pen and my silicone craft sheet, to add glue to the detailed die cut and put it right on top of the 4x6 designer paper! Isn't it so pretty!? Then, it fits perfectly onto the new large note card!!
How simple! How beautiful! How quick and easy! yay!
As you can see, the Large cards are sized to provide a border around the 4x6 card, and then they fit right into the envelopes in the pack!!
RETIRING Petal Passion Memories & More card pack found HERE! Sold Out!
LARGE cards & envelopes coming on June 1st in the new 2018 catalog!
The thank you image is from the Label Me Pretty stamp set.. I performed a little "stamp surgery" on the stamp with an Xacto knife, and then punched it out with the 1-3/8" scalloped circle punch. :)
Hope you enjoyed the sneak peek of these new Large cards / envelopes!

It seems that the Petal Palette stamp set / Petals & More framelits were super popular for demonstrator swap cards at the April 2018 Las Vegas OnStage event!! At least 1/3 of the cards I received featured this bundle! I love it and am so happy to have more ideas featuring this bundle! You can save 10% on the bundle through 5/31/18, and after that, you 'll need to order it at full price as 2 separate items (stamp set and framelits).
