Stampin' Up! Alaska Cruise Swap Card by Patty Bennett

See Patty's 2 week special offer HERE

I hope you have had fun following me on our Alaskan Cruise Adventure this week! I've been posting from Seattle and the Cruise ship whenever I can!!  You can see those posts HERE.

While we are on the ship, one of the Stampin' UP! activities is a card swap.  I wanted to share the card I made, and I hope you like it!  It features the Healing Hugs stamp set and several other fun Stampin' UP! products!

I really love the new Delicate Lace edgelits from Stampin' UP!.. that's what I used for the lovely white lacy detail on these cards.  You can read more about them HERE.

Other products I incorporated into my Cruise Swap Cards are:

  • Petal Promenade designer paper (2" x 4" piece)
  • Thanks for all you do image from the Friendly Expressions set stamped in Grapefruit Grove on a die cut Stitched Shape oval
  • Calypso Coral ombre ribbon

ALL of these Stampin' Up! products are available in my online store by clicking any of the product photos at the bottom of this post.

When I made multiples of a card (which is almost always), I die cut, score, stamp, and fussy cut everything I need first, then assemble.

Patty: love the edgelits & your stamping technique for the roses is just right. Looks like you're having a fun trip. Loved the pics at the Chihuly gallery.

Where did your Alaska adventure take you? What cruise line/ship? Just did Alaska cruise in late May with daughter - on Holland America - aboard the Amsterdam...and it was awesome! Did you sit in front of Hubbard Glacier and watch the calving? that is so awe-inspiring! to see/hear/feel that power of nature!
We went to Ketchikan, Sitka, etc.....and loved it. I enjoy just trolling around the town and chatting with the ' natives' - those who live there all year - and those who only live/work there part of the year. But it's an awesomely beautiful state! there is just so much to see, I wish I had at least a month to stay in each town/city visited!
