Seasonal Wreath Christmas Card with Shimmer Paint

Do you have a favorite Embossing Folder in the current Stampin' Up! catalog? Find them all on pages 222-223 in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog, or HERE online. I used 2 embossing folders on my Christmas card today: Seasonal Wreath (#146833) and Striped Scallops (#147188).
I embossed the wreath on a piece of Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock, then used Sponge Daubers to add 3 colors of ink (Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, and Call me Clover). I used my paper snips to cut out the wreath, and then curved it to give it dimension. After cutting it out I sponged Champagne Mist Shimmer paint all over it and added Santa's Workshop red enamel dots!!
This card was inspired by Twila Davis.
The card base is Real Red cardstock (11"x4-1/4" folded in 1/2), and the white panel on top is embossed with the Striped Scallops embossing folder.

I stamped the greeting from the Timeless Tidings stamp set (new in the 2018 Holiday catalog, pg 33) onto Whisper White and punched it out with the 1-3/4" circle punch. I used the Layering circles framelit dies to die cut a piece of Real Red cardstock to put behind the greeting. Add the greeting to your card, then place the wreath over it.
The amazingly clear/glossy look of these Santa's Workshop enamel shapes are just gorgeous.. I loved adding them as the "berries" to this wreath!
Above: can you see the shimmer on the wreath? That's the beautiful effect you get when you sponge Champagne Mist shimmer paint onto the wreath with a sponge dauber!!! Shimmer paint is available in 4 colors starting Sept. 5, 2018 in the new Holiday catalog!
I finished off this card with a Red 3/8" cotton ribbon bow.

Love your card. I never even gave it a thought to cut out the wreath from the embossing folder... I learn soooo much from you. I really want to get the shimmer paint. I love to see some glimmer on my cards.. Have a great day Patty.
