Delightfully Detailed Fall Card Idea

 

I found an unlikely pairing... I had some pretty patterned Tea Room designer paper from Stampin' UP! on my desk, and these pretty pre-printed Delightfully Detailed card bases, and I paired them together for some really pretty note cards!!

 

I cut the strip of Tea Room paper to about 2" x 5-1/2" and put it on top of the printed Delightfully Detailed note card, then added die cut leaves from the Detailed Leaves thinlit dies and a greeting stamped from the Falling for Leaves stamp set.  Hey.. did you know you can save 10% by buying the stamp set and leaves dies as a bundle! :)  CLICK HERE.

 

 

My color palette is: Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry and Blackberry Bliss. 

I placed a Pearlized Doily behind each stitched shape circle die cut to bring a bit of attention to the greeting.

 

I made a few dozen of these for Customer Thank You cards a couple weeks ago.  I hope the recipients enjoyed them!

In the Woods Stampin' UP! Customer Thank You Cards

 When you love so many different Stampin' Up! patterns for your Christmas Card design... and cannot decide which one to use..

 

Yes, I used 7 different designer series paper patterns on my Christmas card idea!! I made these for Customer Thank You cards and for a swap I'm participating in.  The paper is from 2 different packs from Stampin' UP!: Festive Farmhouse and Under the Mistletoe.  The cardstock is either Real Red or Garden Green.

Each card also features a cardstock circle embossed with the very popular Swirls & Curls embossing folder, and a stamped sentiment on a Stitched Shape circle die cut.  The greeting is found in the Stylish Christmas stamp set.

TIP!

I had 80 trees to spritz, so I put a few dozen at a time into 2 tins and spritzed them with the Frost White Shimmer Paint in my Stampin' Spritzer.  They only take moment to dry, then I repeated this until they were all white and shimmery!!  I bought the "lasagna" pans at the Dollar Tree store.. 2 tins for $1 :)   If you have not spritzed with the shimmer paint yet, watch my VIDEO HERE.

Beautiful Baubles Rainbow Pad Christmas Card idea

 

Looking for a super quick and easy holiday card?  I love to make handmade cards for the Christmas Holidays, but since we send out well over 100 each year, sometimes it needs to be a quick card like this one!  Try out a Spectrum Rainbow pad and the Beautiful Baubles stamp set from Stampin' Up! for a beautiful card with lots of pizzazz!  Find the Beautiful Baubles stamp set on page 10 of your 2018 Holiday catalog, or HERE online.

 

I stamped the ornament image twice using my inked rainbow pad and then mounted it to a Fresh Fig cardstock mat embossed with the Swirls & Curls embossing folder.  For shimmer and shine, I sponged some Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint onto the raised portion of the embossed image and then added some Frosted & Clear Epoxy droplets!

Pop Of Petals card with Four Petal Punch

 I was adding Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint to these Pop of Petal flower images on one of my recent videos (here),  so then I decided I needed to use these flowers on a card!!  I created this lovely summery, tropical card with the Tropical Chic bundle, Tropical Chic paper and some Frosted Floral paper!  Neat combo, right?

 

I Loved how the Frosted Floral background leaf pattern coordinates with the Tropical Chic paper and bundle and Pop of Petals bundle!

• Flirty Flamingo mat layer: 2-3/4" x 3-3/4"
• Black and White Tropical Chic patterned paper: 2-1/2" x 3-1/2"

 

I stamped the Pop of Petal flower images with my Memento black ink pad, then colored with them with my Stampin' Blends markers.  I added some Champagne Mist Shimmer paint with a sponge dauber, then punched them out with the Four Petal Flower Punch.

Country Home Colored with Stampin' Blends markers

 I recently attended a Stampin' Bingo event, hosted by Kurstan.  She designed 5 projects for us to create, and this Country Home card was one of them.  I just loved the design of this card with the Stitched Shape Oval, the chicken wire, the strips of designer paper and the galvanized clip!

 

 

After stamping the milk jug and floral image with Memento Black ink on Whisper White cardstock, I colored them with Stampin' Blends.  Kurstan selected the colors in the Country Lane designer paper and brought those Stampin' Blends to the event so that we could color in the image. 

Below:  after stamping the oval and THANKS, I colored with the Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blend marker and fussy cut the oval to add to the jug.  I also fussy cut the jug with the floral image.

Fall Themed Customer Thank You Cards

 

I LOVE the Wishing you Well stamp set in the 2018 Stampin UP! Holiday catalog!  Find it on page 35, or HERE online.

I hope YOU love the fall themed thank you cards I came up with using this stamp set!

 

As you can see above, I played with a few different colors, just mixing and matching these colors:

Crushed Curry, Fresh Fig, Rich Razzleberry, Blackberry Bliss and Smoky Slate.

 

 

 

I love this Hostess set from Stampin' Up! called Warm Hearted (pictured above at left), (pg 54 in the 2018 Holiday catalog).  I used the THANKS stamp from this set in my card design.  You can purchase this set (or any hostess set) when your order or party total is over $150.  (Use Stampin' Rewards, a.k.a. hostess dollars, to purchase hostess sets or any product from the catalog).  I stamped it with Crushed Curry ink onto the patterned paper from the Country Lane designer series paper pack (pg 43 Holiday catalog, #147804). 

I also used 2 other patterns from this paper pack on my card.  The striped pattern behind the oval, and the polka dot strip, are both from the Country Lane paper pack.

I die cut Very Vanilla stitched shape ovals, and stamped the "wheat" sprigs in Crushed Curry, and the flowers in Blackberry Bliss.  I also stamped the bow in Blackberry Bliss.  I attached the oval to a Crushed Curry Scalloped Oval die cut and added that to the card. 

Cutting Dimensions:

• Base Card:  4-1/4" x 9", score at 5-1/2"
• Striped Country Lane paper: 3"x4"
• Crushed Curry Country Lane paper: 4" x 1-1/2"
• Polka dot Country Lane paper: 4" x 1/2"
• Very Vanilla (inside) 4" x 5-1/4"

 

 

So then.. the secret weapon on this card.. I spritzed the finished card with some Gold Shimmer Paint mixed into a Stampin' Spritzer with rubbing alcohol.. it's SO PRETTY in person!!  Watch the VIDEO HERE to see how to make your own shimmer mist!!

 

I also decided to try a horizontal version, and I actually used a sympathy sentiment from the Wishing You Well set. I added gold metallic pearls to this card. I think it turned out lovely.

Pillow Box with Rosette Flowers

 

I was AMAZED at how fun and easy it was to create these paper flower rosettes using the Stampin' UP! Stitched Label framelit dies!!!!  They are cut in a spiral, wrapped around a skewer, secured with hot glue then sponged with some Gold Shimmer Paint!!  SO BEAUTIFUL!

 

My talented stamping friend Cindee showed a group of us how to make these gorgeous rosettes and decorate this Pillow Box!

Below: Tips for making your own paper rosette flowers with the Stitched Label Framelit dies.

 We used 2 shapes of label dies from the framelit set, in Blackberry Bliss, Highland Heather and Mint Macaron cardstock for the rosettes. Per the graphic below, you cut them in a spiral with your paper snips, roll them around a skewer, then hot glue them.  So easy!

 

 

 To add the perfect touch of shimmer and glam to these paper flowers, just use your Sponge Dauber and Gold Shimmer paint and lightly sponge the tips of the flowers.. wow!!  It dries almost instantly and is SO gorgeous!

ABOVE: After cutting and rolling up all of the rosettes, we hot glued them to a die cut leaf.. but not just a plain leaf... We die cut a Detailed Leaves leaf with Crumb Cake cardstock, then we embossed it with the Swirls & Curls embossing folder, then I sponged on both gold and copper shimmer paint!!!

BELOW:  we added all those layers to the Pillow Box.

 

All 4 of the flower rosettes were added to the large die cut leaf, and we added a couple other die cut leaves from the Detailed Leaves framelit set, plus some Mint Macaron bakers twine tied in a bow.

Making Christmas Bright Card Idea using punches

 I hope it's not too early to be thinking about Christmas card projects!!  With all the fun temptation in the 2018 Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog, I just can't resist making some Christmas projects already!  I hope you enjoy my "Making Christmas Bright" Christmas bulb card idea!

  

 

TIP!!! The quickest way to stamp a bunch and punch of these cute Christmas bulbs is to put all of the images from the Making Christmas Bright set (pg 7 in the Holiday catalog or HERE online) onto one clear block then ink it at once in one color, stamp it on a strip of Whisper White cardstock, repeat, clean, and move to the next color.  Then you can easily punch them out with the Christmas Bulb Builder punch - part of the money-saving 10% off bundle!! It made this a super quick project!!

 

Making Christmas Bright Bundle #149947

 

 In addition to the Christmas bulb punch, I also used the bow from the Candy Cane Builder punch (pg 20, #148011)!! It's a fun addition to this card!

I used 2 die cuts as well.. the heart is from the Sweetly Stitched framelits, pg 25, #147918,

and the greeting is stamped on a stitched tag die from the Farmhouse Framelits, pg 13, #147922.

The colors I used for the bulbs above are: Blueberry Bushels, Pineapple Punch, Lovely Lipstick, Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green.

 

I punched Galvanized Metallic paper and added it to the card with tweezers and Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

 

The greeting was stamped using one of my Rainbow Spectrum pads.. see details HERE.  The greeting is found in the Making Christmas Bright set.

 

 

Hope you enjoyed this fun idea!! To create this card, cut about 1" or 1-1/2" off the front of a top fold card, and then layer some coordinating designer paper inside.  I used a piece of polka dot Granny Apple Green paper from the Brights collection 6x6 paper stack, #146964.
