DIY Note Pad project for Christmas To-Do List

I am a "to do list" lover. I have lists everywhere. One place I keep a notepad for my lists is my car. I love these Clear Stamp Case Note Pad Holders in my car because it keeps the list nice and clean and protected from you know.. stuff like spills or the occasional french fry that leaps out of the bag... :)
We made these at our recent Luv 2 Stamp Group stamp day. I took all of the Stampin' Up! supplies to the event and everyone made one!

You can read all the step by step tips to make your own note pad holder in the free download above, but basically you will want to create the designer paper insert with Stampin' Up! designer paper (we used Festive Farmhouse paper) and then a strip of Galvanized paper cut to look like a snowy hill. It measures a total of 7" x 10-5/8" total.
If you slip this into your clear mount stamp case, close the case, and "crease" on the spine, when you pull the paper out, you'll see exactly where to add the trees and sentiment on the front portion.
Use the amazing Tear & Tape to adhere a strip of designer paper over the logo on the mini legal pad, and also to adhere the legal pad into the clear stamp case. (see below).
These make GREAT gifts, and because you can purchase a pack of 4 of these clear stamp cases for only $6.00 (here), and you can buy the mini legal pads for just a few dollars at places like Sam's club, Staples, etc., they are really economical! You might even check the dollar store!
To decorate the front, I stamped the pine tree from Winter Woods in Shaded Spruce ink on Whisper White cardstock and die cut it with the "In the Woods" framelit dies. I also die cut one of the detailed trees and left it white.
The greeting is also stamped in Shaded Spruce on Whisper White cardstock, and die cut with the stitched shape circle, layered onto a Shaded Spruce scalloped circle. The stamps is in the Merry Christmas to All stamp set.

What a gorgeous project!! I love this idea, and I'll be making a few for myself this year. I make lists all the time and it'll be nice to have a pretty case for the legal pad, and prevent the pages from getting mangled and torn up in my bag. Safe travels, and have a great time in Orlando!!
