Stampin' Up! Convention 2009 Make & Take projects

I thought you might like to see the fun projects we made at the Stampin' Up! Convention last week! They gave us 4 free sets in our Convention bag plus a wheel, and we used those to make our projects. 

Stampin' Up! Convention - Riverton Tour

One of the reasons I was excited to have my husband and son come to Salt Lake City with me for our Convention was that I wanted them to see the Stampin' Up! headquarters in Riverton, Utah.  Stampin' Up! is gracious enough to let us tour the Riverton facility while we are at Convention!!

Here is my friend Jill and my friend Joy with me at the front door.  (it was really bright - Joy is squinting!)

Upon entering, everyone just gasps at the beautiful atrium!

In the Legacy Room, I LOVED this display using our new Stencils (from the Decor Elements Catalog) - Shelli's "mom Pat" did this display.. isn't it just STUNNING!?

Then we walked through the Demo Support/SAM section.

Then a quick look in the Inspiration room - that conference room in the background is where we got to meet with the Corporate Team when I was on the Advisory Board last year.. too fun!

THEN.. the part that I knew my husband and son would like.. the Distribution Center where all the products are stocked, and the pickline where the products are packed into our boxes!!!

Stampin' Up! Convention 2009 - update 6

One of the things I'm most excited about in our ever expanding line of craft offerings is our new Simply Adorned Charms and chains.. these are so fabulous and will be available on Sept. 1st!!  The charms come in 3 sizes and you can switch out the stamped insert to coordinate with what you are wearing!! With 2 lengths of chain, you have options there as well!

Stampin' Up! Convention 2009 - Memento Mall Build A Bear Incentive and My Digital Studio!

Memento Mall is one of the HOTTEST things about Stampin' Up! Conventions... demonstrators wait in line 3 and 4 hours to get in and buy the cool fun things Stampin' Up! offers us!!!!

Do you see how exhausting it is to shop at Memento Mall!?  This shopper clearly needed some reviving from her demonstrator friends ! :)  (she was really just resting but I thought it was too funny!)

 

I am sooooooooooooo excited about the new My Digital Studio program... it's our upcoming digital scrapbooking software program that is compatible with MAC and PC and is sooooooo easy to use. You can create so many different projects with it... scrapbooks, scrapbook pages, calendars, cards, flyers, and more!!!

Stampin' Up! Convention 2009 - update 3

Today was full of fun times with my downline and my friends..  I think we are all hooked on the Build a Bear items, the new jewelry and Digital Scrapbooking!!!  I can't believe tomorrow is the last day... this week went so fast!

I want to share lots of fun photos from the Stampin' Up! Convention with you ... let's start with Awards Night last night....

I was in the top 10 achievers in the "most promotions to Sr. Associate" category..  I'm thrilled to be in the top 10 of anything in Stampin' Up! :)  I need to locate the photo for that...

Stampin' Up! Convention 2009 - Update 2

It's been so much fun here in Salt Lake City!  Going back to yesterday, check in day, I picked up my Convention bag and my Founder's Circle bag.. I looked like a Bag Lady!

 

One of the highlights today was buying our own Stampin' Up! Build A Bear in Memento Mall!!

We worked on really cute Make & Takes today too!

I have about 300 more pix to share.. :) ... but not tonight.. it's after midnight and we just got back from Awards Night.. and I need to get to bed.. but.. I needed to share my exciting news with you ... I was number 18 Demonstrator of the Year this year!!!  and placed #8 in the company for Sr. Associate promotions in my downline!!  What a night!!  It was great to have my husband and son here to share in the excitement!!  Photos to come tomorrow... until then... have a great day!
