I've been blogging about our Luv 2 Stamp Group Christmas Gift Exchange earlier this month.. and today I'm so excited to share the last segment of our evening together.  You can see other posts from this event with my downline here.

This darling apron and gorgeous plates were made by Lorena, and Cindee got this lovely gift. Lorena used Mod Podge to apply Stampin' Up! Candlelight Christmas fabric (#126905, pg 4 Holiday Catalog) to the back of large clear glass plates.  These are just STUNNING!!

I received this stunning bracelet made by Ellen... it is so pretty and features NEW Designer Paper coming up in the Spring catalog!!

Lorena was the recipient of these fabulous wreaths made by Laura.. they are wrapped with Candlelight Christmas fabric!

Sharon received lovely cocktail napkins made by Carrie. Carrie is a great seamstress and used Comfort Cafe fabric for these treasures.  (item #126894, pg 171 Stampin' Up! Catalog).

And lastly, (but not leastly) :) Joy received this amazing set of drawers decorated by Sharon.. I just love this technique.. Sharon shared it at our October meeting and i will be blogging about this technique soon!

December Customer Thank You Gift

Last Friday night about a dozen of my Luv 2 Stamp Group demonstrators got together to celebrate the holidays with dinner, a gift exchange and we made a very special project led by Cindee Wilkinson.
I wanted to share the amazing hand made gifts we exchanged.

I'll share a few each day.

We bring our gifts in a brown shopping bag and set them on a table, then we go around in a circle and each person selects one bag, and opens it. (no we do not steal gifts once opened).

Gina received beautiful handmade ornaments from Carol:

and Laura loved her paper angels from Joy!

The angels are similar to THESE ANGELS that I blogged previously, but Joy put one angel on a pretty sparkly ornament and the other angel on a battery operated tea light.. so cute!

Laura's husband, Jeff, came for dinner (as did my hubby and son)... aren't they the cutest couple!?

 Carrie received a super cute paper cupcake with a Starbucks card inside! And a cute candy kisses tree both made by Cindee.

and Carol received this amazing fabric garland made from strips of the Candlelight Christmas fabric, pg 4 in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog, #126905. Cut strips approx. 1" x 6-1/2' and tie them onto a strand of lights!!  This garland was about 6' long and took 2 packs of fabric and 1 pack of Early Espresso Tulle ribbon.  It's on a battery operated strand of lights, but you could also use regular lights.

Have you seen the new Orchard Harvest Fabric from Stampin' Up!?

The fabric, leaves, Perfectly Preserved stamp (jar) and more, are all

part of the Orchard Harvest Suite of products from Stampin' Up!

I filled a canning jar with home made trail mix, then cut two 6" squares of Orchard Harvest Fabric (page 30, item code 126915), frayed the edges and layered them over the lid.  I secured them with a rubber band.  I tore a 27" length of the Lucky Limeade ginham fabric from the Orchard Harvest package to use as a tie around the jar lid (and to cover the rubber band).

 

The Jar stamp is from the new Perfectly Preserved stamp set (#126690/126692) on pg 29 of your Holiday catalog.  I stamped it in Gumball Green ink on Whisper White cardstock, and die cut it with the Cannery Framelit set (#127822) and my Big Shot. Then I die cut a 2nd jar with a Window sheet (#114323) and secured it over the stamped one.  That makes it look like a glass jar.  :)

My last set of embellishing features the super pretty leaves die cut from the new Autumn Accents Big Shot Die (#127812) found on pg 33 of the Holiday Catalog.  Some were stamped with the Wonderfall set (#128084/128087) and some were just textured with the Woodgrain Embossing folder (#127821) - all on pg 33 of the Holiday catalog.

Pennants are all the rage right now... and with the Stampin' Up! Petite Pennant Builder Punch, they are super quick and easy to create!!

We made this cute Table Decoration at one of my classes a couple months ago.  I got the cute little "Coke glasses" at a dollar store, filled them with Red Hots and used red straws for the "flag poles". Use GLUE DOTS to secure the pennants to the straws.

All of the cute pennants are punched from the Pennant Builder punch and the Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stacks (BRIGHTS AND SUBTLES)

The smaller flags are die cut using the Bitty Banners Framelits.

Some flags were stamped first using the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set.

We enjoyed a wonderful day on Saturday here in the San Francisco Bay Area at our quarterly Luv 2 Stamp Group Stampin' Up! meeting!  We were inspired, educated and entertained... we ate, stamped, swapped and made new friends... we laughed, cheered and celebrated... and basically had a wonderful day together!

I truly could not do it without my team of volunteers each time... these gals helped with set up, registration table, card contest, clean up, A/V equip, notes and photos.  Thank you!

I love to treat the volunteers to some type of little gift at each meeting. This time they each received a sampler of the Summer Smooches fabric as well as a darling business card holder made from the Summer Smooches fabric.

My multi-talented downline and friend, Wendy Cranford, made the business card holders for me!

I packaged them with a sampling of the Summer Smooches fabric and decorated the packaging.

I made the Thank You tags using the From my Heart stamp set (pg 139) stamped in Real Red on whisper white cardstock, then die cut with the Floral Frames Framelits (pg 191) and the Big Shot. The polkadot paper flowers are die cut with the same Floral Frames Framelits using the Polka Dot Parade Designer paper found on pg 164.

Dresden Designs Big Shot Die from Stampin' Up!

I know.. at first glance you may be thinking... what do I do with this new Dresden Designs Die from Stampin' Up!? (haven't seen it yet? check out page 12 of the Occasions mini catalog)  Well, it's meant to die cut fabric (and you know, when it's Stampin' Up! fabric you have a dynomite duo!)... it cuts out 2 different sized "petals".  The Dresden Plate quilt pattern was one of the most popular quilts made in the 1920's and 1930's.  It was most often used with the floral prints of the period, so sometimes it goes by the name of Grandmother's Sunburst, Dahlia, or Sunflower.

Check out these WONDERFUL projects using the Stampin' Up! Dresden Designs die .. these were on display at the Stampin' Up! Leadership conference in San Antonio last month.

Summer Smooches from Stampin' Up!
