We created these cards on the Stamp and Paper cruise last month, but I decided to stamp my leaves in lots of different combos with the Lemon Lime Twist and Garden Green ink... fun combos!

Painted Autumn Sunflower Note Cards

I think this was one of my favorite cards that we created on the Stamp & Scrap cruise last month!   It was designed by Jessica Hill.  I love this sunflower card featuring the Painted Harvest stamp set and leaf punch bundle!!

The thing that I feel makes this card super special is the "frame" die cut with the Layering Square framelits and the Stitched Shape Framelits!!  Isn't it cool!?  If you are unfamiliar with those framelits, CLICK HERE to watch my video.

After stamping the Sunflower in So Saffron and Crushed Curry ink (Early Espresso for the center) on Very Vanilla cardstock, we cut them out with Paper Snips and then added Clear Wink Of Stella to them... soooooooo pretty!!  The leaves were punched with Old Olive cardstock and Vellum.  I added them to the back of the flower and then put it onto my card.

Don't you think that stitched shape square frame is just amazing? What a GREAT design element!

Oh, and if you make a boo-boo while stamping your greeting on the note card...  ahem.. just grab a Very Vanilla scrap, stamp it again, and punch it out with the Everyday Label Punch (pg 10 of the 2017 Holiday Catalog from Stampin' UP!).

Fall "Gourd Goodness" Stampin' Up! Note Cards

I know that Fall is a favorite time of year for many of my friends, and why not take this opportunity to send a little thinking of you or thankful for you card to your friends!?

Enjoy these fall note card ideas featuring the Stampin' Up! Very Vanilla Note cards, Painted Autumn paper, and the Gourd Goodness stamp set, found on page 50 of the 2017 Stampin' UP! Holiday catalog!

These cards were a couple of the many amazing cards I stamped on the Scrap & Paper cruise in September!

The card on the left features the very popular Painted Autumn designer paper with the sunflower design and the card on the right was stamped with the Gourd Goodness pumpkin images on Very Vanilla cardstock.  Both card bases are the Very Vanilla Note Cards featuring thick Very Vanilla cardstock.

The 2 step pumpkin stamp image was stamped with Peekaboo Peach and Tangerine Tango. I would not have thought to combine those 2 colors for the pumpkins but it works great!!  The stems are stamped with Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz.

 We used our Paper Snips to cut out the sunflowers from the Painted Autumn printed paper.

Counting My Blessings Card

I hope you enjoy this beautiful fall card idea, featuring the Stampin' UP! "Count My Blessings" stamp set, Leaf Punch, Layered Leaves embossing folder and lovely fall color palette including Gold Foil Paper.

I received a very similar card from one of my Luv 2 Stamp Group teammates, Melanie Hockin, and I decided to use the idea to create swap cards for the stamping / crafting cruise we went on last week!!  Thank you Melanie for the great idea!

There were over a dozen different swaps we could participate in on the cruise and I participated in 2 of them.  Most swaps had 16 participants.  Jenn, our hostess,  had it down to a science and lined us up and we swapped really quickly!

Above: you can see 2 different versions of this card - one with Gold Glimmer paper leaves and one with Gold Foil leaves. Ultimately a I went with the Gold Foil leaves for my swap.

TIP! I actually cut the Gold Foil squares, then punched the 2 leaves from the middle of the foil from square :) to maximize my supplies :)

The greeting from Count My Blessings (pg 50 of the 2017 Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog) was stamped in Island Indigo on Very Vanilla cardstock that I die cut with the Stitched Shape framelits.  I also stamped the acorn image from the same set in Crumb Cake ink over the greeting, and added a gold enamel shape heart to each card.  It's layered onto the Gold foil paper.

The background is embossed with the Layered Leaves embossing folder and Very Vanilla cardstock, layered onto Crumb Cake and Island Indigo.  The last color I used was Cajun Craze for some of the punched leaves.

Layered Leaves Paper Pumpkin kit gifts

Hi friends!!  If you follow me on my Business Facebook Page or Instagram, you probably know that we were away on Vacation last week... we took a cruise to the Caribbean!! It was wonderful and relaxing and just what we all needed!!  I think it's been 2 years since we took a week off, so let's say we thoroughly enjoyed the time away!

We cruised on Royal Caribbean to the Western Caribbean on the Liberty of the Seas on a crafting and stamping cruise hosted by demonstrator Jenn Gulch.   She had tons of Stampin' Up! crafting projects for us to create, and you can see some of them HERE. Scrap and paper cruise 2017 - Liberty of the Seas, Royal Caribbean. Stampin' Up! crafting projects.

Today I am going to share the little cards and gift boxes I brought with me to give to our cabin steward, our waiters, and other special people on the ship.  We like to leave a little something on the bed for the cabin steward each night, and also treat the waiters on the last night. 

I used the "Layered Leaves" September Paper Pumpkin kit and a few other supplies to create the little gifties.  For all the supplies, scroll to the bottom of this post, please.

We put money in them and I think they enjoyed each treat!

Autumn Patterned Pumpkin Fall Note Cards

Happy Autumn, Happy Fall! 

Create and send a sweet note card to a friend using the Stampin' UP! Spooky Night designer paper and die cut pumpkins from the Patterned Pumpkin thinlit dies!

I was so happy when I realized that I could die cut the pumpkins using the Patterned Pumpkins thinlits instead of fussy cutting them all by hand, because I made about 50 of these cards!!

Each thick Very Vanilla note card was sponged with Tangerine Tango ink, then I added a strip of Color Theory paper to the top of the note card and also sponged some ink on that as well. 

Each card is embellished with some Black Rhinestone jewels.  Autumn Greetings is found in the Seasonal Lantern stamp set and is stamped in Pumpkin Pie ink.

The inspiration for these cards came from my friend Cindee.. I loved how she used the leaf punch behind the pumpkins, so I borrowed her idea for these cards.  I stamped them in Pear Pizzazz ink on Pear Pizzazz cardstock then punched them with the new leaf punch.  The image and punch are in a bundle called Painted Harvest, found on pg 49 in the 2017 Holiday catalog or HERE in my online store.

Embossing Paste Fall Leaf Cards

As we are officially heading into Fall now, I thought I'd share these Seasonal Layers fall leaf cards that I made many months ago, but saved for the fall.  These cards feature Stampin' Up! embossing paste colored with reinkers, and die cut with the Seasonal Layers leaf thinlit dies on my Big Shot.

I die cut my own mask with a Window Sheet, Seasonal Layers leaves and the Big Shot.

I used that mask to create beautiful embossing paste leaves in fall colors!

Make your own leaf mask for embossing paste with Stampin' Up! Seasonal Layers thinlits.

 

The colors of Stampin' UP! reinkers I used with the embossing paste are:  Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Old Olive.
 

The Brick Backgrounds were created with embossing paste and the Pattern Party Decorative masks.

Tip! When using embossing paste, use Washi Tape to hold your mask in place!

After I created the leaves on the pieces of Color Theory paper, I decided to die cut them and use some of them on these cards.

The Crisp and Cool circle was punched out of one of the Color Theory Memories & More cards, found on page 193 in the Stampin' Up! catalog.  I used the Starburst punch, then added some 1/4" copper trim behind it.

Merry Cafe Fall Sunflower card

Fall is in the air and the Merry Cafe stamp set is a great one to use for so many different seasons, including fall!  When I stamped with Cindee recently she had designed this card and had it ready for us to create.  We used the Painted Autumn paper in the background, and several fun Holiday Catalog accessories from Stampin' UP!

Merry Cafe Pumpkin Spice Latte Fall cards

Happy Fall!!  It's actually starting to feel like fall here... the leaves are falling already!  Crazy! AND I hear that Pumpkin Spice Latte's are all the rage at Starbucks, so I thought this would be the perfect card to share with you today!  This fun card features the new Stampin' Up! Merry Cafe stamp set, the Coffee Cup framelits and the Painted Autumn designer paper.

I am including lots of tips and info for you in this blog post, I hope you find it helpful when creating your own Pumpkin Spice Latte card!  Find all of the supplies in my online Stampin' UP! store here, or by clicking any of the product photos at the bottom of this blog post.

The first thing I did was die cut the coffee cups with the yellow/orange polkadot pattern from the Painted Autumn paper.  (Find it on pg 49 in the 2017 Holiday catalog). Then I stamped the leaves on them using the Merry Cafe stamp set (pg 46, 2017 Holiday catalog), with Garden Green and Lemon Lime Twist ink (see photo below).

 I die cut all of the coffee cup pieces and used Multipurpose Liquid glue to assemble the coffee cups.  I stamped right onto the die cut coffee cozy piece with Early Espresso ink onto the Crumb Cake die cut.

Once the cups were all done, I added the other pieces to the Very Vanilla thick note card.  I punched 1-1/2" and 2" wide strips of Painted Autumn paper with the Banner Triple Punch for the background then added the coffee cup on Stampin' Dimensionals, then tucked in die cut leaves with glue dots.  I used the Seasonal Layers framelits and Painted Autumn paper for the leaf die cuts.

As you can see in the photo below.. I used my Stampin' Sponge and randomly sponged on some Tangerine Tango ink onto the Painted Autumn paper, then cut the 12x12 sheet in 1/2 and die cut as many leaves as I could from the Seasonal Layers leaf dies.  I cut both layers at once... see below in this post for the unique way it die cut the outline leaves!

I shared this thought on my business FB page last week... I am not crazy about the acorn pattern in the Painted Autumn designer paper pack, BUT... once it's die cut with the outline leaf, I loved it!  (see above and below).

Above:  I trimmed each cup with some 1/4" Copper Trim and frayed the ends a bit.

Below:  I cut 2 outline leaves at once and the bottom layer did not cut all the way through.. but I loved this effect!

Painted Autumn Pumpkin Fall Card Ideas

Let Stampin' UP! do the coloring for you!  Yep, I just cut out the pumpkins from the Painted Autumn Designer Series paper pack and added them to these Fall Cards!!  You'll find this gorgeous paper on page 49 in the 2017 Holiday catalog.

I stamped the Thankful greeting in Pumpkin Pie ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock - you'll find this greeting in the Painted Harvest stamp set, pg 49 of the Holiday catalog or here online.  The card is a Very Vanilla thick note card.. they come precut and prescored, with the envelopes!  Click to view them online here, or see them on page 195 in the annual catalog, upper left corner of the page.

I used my Stampin' UP! Paper Snips to make easy work out of cutting out the pumpkins.

For each card, I attached the cut out pumpkins to a die cut Stitched Shape circle or oval, and added that to the card.  I used Snail to attach some pumpkins and Stampin' Dimensionals to attach the others.  This gives some added dimension to the card.

I layered pieces of Painted Autumn designer series paper from the 2017 Holiday catalog and also some Wood Textures paper from the Annual catalog on my cards.  I also have some Embossing Paste Bricks on the card below.  See THIS VIDEO if you have not created with embossing paste yet.  I mixed Cherry Cobbler reinker into the embossing paste and used the brick pattern from the Pattern Party masks to create bricks on the Crumb Cake cardstock.

Glitter Enamel Dots are also a fun accent to any card, but particularly pretty on this card!

Spooky Night Treat Tube Halloween Treats

 As crafters, we are always looking for a fun, new way to create and give a handmade card, gift or treat to friends and family. The new Stampin' UP! Treat Tubes are the perfect solution for creative treat packaging!!

Use them for Halloween (as shown below) or for any party favor, treat or holiday!

Find the fun Treat Tubes in a box of 12 on page 53 in the 2017 Holiday catalog, #144612 online.

For this fun Halloween candy treat, I filled 3 of the treat tubes with Candy Corn and packaged them into a 3" x 6" cello bag then added a fun tag created with the Lots of Labels framelits die cuts, and fun Halloween Pumpkins that I cut out of the Spooky Night designer paper with my Paper Snips.

Craft tip sponge ink on gingham ribbon to alter the color!

 

To finish off the cute treat bag, I tied it up with these ribbons, trims and embellishments:

  • 3/8" Basic Black Shimmer ribbon (it's so pretty!!) #144129, pg 199 annual catalog
  • 1/2" Smoky Slate Gingham ribbon sponged with Daffodil Delight ink to make it yellow and gray!   #144231, pg 198 annual catalog
  • Black Vintage Crochet Trim, #144611, pg 53 Holiday catalog
  • Basic Black Rhinestones, #144639, pg 53 Holiday catalog
  • White Perfect Accents, #138416, pg 196 annual catalog, colored with orange glimmer Sharpie pen (Amazon)

Oh my, these are so cute!! Like I mentioned in the video, you can fold them so that they are "glossy side out" or "glossy side in".  I covered this one with more Spooky Night designer paper and a stamped owl from the Spooky Cat stamp set.

Cute Sunflower Pizza Box featuring Painted Harvest set

Thank you to so many of you who have commented on the cuteness factor of this Mini Pizza Box from my Painted Autumn Suite Product Review Video!  If you missed it.. I'll include it below, at the bottom of this blog post.

Mini Pizza Box project tips:

  • Cut Designer Paper or cardstock to about 3-1/4" square for the top of the box
  • Fussy cut the printed sunflowers from the Painted Autumn paper
  • Decorate the center of the sunflowers with Black Rhinestone Jewels (#144639)
  • add a stamped tag featuring the Painted Harvest stamp set and Pretty Label punch
  • finish box with bow - Pear Pizzazz 3/8" shimmer ribbon

I wanted to use a second pattern from the Painted Autumn designer paper pack, so I cut a strip about 3/4" wide and wrapped it around the box.  I used Fast Fuse to make sure it would stay put.
