Decor Elements Blocks from Stampin' Up!

I got this really cool idea from Melissa B. in my downline... cover the Stampin' Up! Decor Elements blocks with photos!!!!  It becomes a REALLY COOL PUZZLE!!! 

This is for my dear brother - {{you know... one who has everything... so you have to come up with creative ideas... ya, that one...}}  so I took HIS photos and printed them at home, cut them into 3x3 squares and applied them to our Decor Elements blocks (holiday mini catalog, pg 30) using the Stampin' Up! Glue Sticks.  Voila... hopefully a very unique gift that he'll enjoy displaying in his home. (I used my Epson R1900 wide format printer).

There are 6 different scenes.. I think he'll enjoy discovering them all and displaying his gift.

this sample uses the RECTANGLE frame with the Petal's a Plenty Embossing Folder from Stampin' Up!

For the sample above, I've sponged on some FROST WHITE SHIMMER PAINT (pg 27 in the Holiday Mini Catalog, item 116854, $5.95) - it's beautifully shimmery in person!

NEW Petals a Plenty Impressions Folder from Stampin' Up!

I am sooooooo excited about the NEW Holiday Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up!   It was released to demonstrators in August and will be available to customers on September 1st - THAT'S NEXT WEEK!!  :)

As a demonstrator I have been enjoying playing with the new goodies from the mini catalog for the last few weeks.  One of my favorite new products is the Petals a Plenty Impressions folder that I used on this card to make the embossed poinsettia flowers:

I also used: Christmas Cocoa Designer Paper, Merry & Bright Rubons, and the new Mistletoe ribbon! 

These items will be available for purchase on Tuesday!  Just think.. you could get a jump start on your Christmas cards in September! :)

My Customers should be receiving their mini catalog direct from Stampin' Up! sometime around Sept. 1.  If you have not rec'd yours by then, it will be available for viewing on line.  I know you'll want to see it! :)

Sweet Treats for Halloween!

I was working on some Halloween treats using our new "Sweet Centers" stamp set (coming soon in the Holiday Mini Catalog - Sept. 1) and the cute Sweet Treat cups... these are fun to work with!
