Eggcellent Eggs kit cards

I have more samples to share with you from my demo at Leadership earlier this month.

Aside from decorating eggs with the Eggcellent Eggs kit, I also made some cards with it... here are a couple samples:

The decorative strips (olive, pink, saffron), flowers and rhinestones are all from the Eggcellent Eggs kit (item #117179 in the Occasions Mini catalog).

Big Shot Purse

I was sooooooooo blessed to receive this AWESOME gift at Leadership earlier this month!!  My dear friend, Lisa Lange from IL brought me this purse!!  I used it to hold my swaps.. it was PERFECT!

What is soooooooo cool about these purses is that each square is DIE CUT with our SCALLOP SQUARE die and the BIG SHOT!!!   For those who quilt and/or sew, you know this makes for a really easy project!!!

FREE Stamp sets & photos from Leadership ...

I never really finished sharing photos and news from the Stampin' Up! Leadership conference I attended earlier this month.... so I have more fun photos to share with you .,..

Don't you LOVE all the free stamp sets I got that week!!?? WOWZA!

It was so much fun shopping at MEMENTO MALL .... this is where we can purchase Stampin' Up! Exclusive merchandise... wow.. tooooooooooooooo fun!

The flip flops have "Stampin' Up!" imprinted in the soles, so when you walk in the sand you will be "stamping" Stampin' Up! all over!!  Can't wait to wear these in the Caribbean on the upcoming SU! cruise!

 

Do you think we bought enough stuff? I won't tell you how many times we went back for more that week..

Love Bots Valentine samples - part 3

I've posted a few samples from the Love Bots Valentine's kits the last few days.. here are some "altered" samples..... using the kit in other ways than making a box.

This scrapbook page was made using My Digital Studio, and adding cut outs and punch outs from the Lots of Bots Valentine kits.  This is a photo of my darling son and I from about 9 or 10 years ago, and the lovely flowers he and my husband gave me for Valentine's Day that year.

Love Bots Valentine samples - part 2

How about 2 more ideas for the Love Bots Valentine's kits... if you don't want to give out Candy at Valentine's day... here are  2 alternatives to using the kits with something else.

To make the variation below, poke 4 holes in the bottom of the box and slip pencils in !  :)  I punched holes with my Crop A Dile then made them a little bigger by pushing my Paper Piercer through the hole.

If you use the front flap of the box to make a card, you will be left with a strip of lovely patterned cardstock... you can wrap that around pencils, pixie sticks, lip gloss, etc. !! :)  Dollar stores are great places to get pencils and other treats inexpensively.

Think beyond Valentine's day for these kits... baby showers, Easter, birthday party favors.... but get 'em now.... these kits are ONLY AVAILABLE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!

Love Bots Valentines samples - part 1

At our Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference last week I was also asked to demo the new Love Bots Valentine's kits..  they are so cute.. have you seen them on page 17 of the new Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog? 

You can buy a pack of 30 "boy" Valentines or 30 "girl" valentines.. they are very fun!! 

THe Love Bots Valentine kits make these cute little boxes ready to fill with a treat.. but stay tuned this week as I show you some other creative ways to use these fun treats. :)

The Stampin' Up! small Cello Bags fit perfectly inside.

It's fun to use our new edge punches to decorate the edge of the box (above), or ad brads, ribbon or other embellishments.

Below... these are fun to use in other ways,.. if you cut off the front flap you can make them into cards or other treats.  This one was added to the new "HUGS" die cut note and then placed in the new Glassine Envelopes!!  (pg 19 of the Holiday Mini Catalog).

Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference 2010 Manager's Reception

One of the highlights of the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference is the gathering of demonstrators with the title of Manager and above... this is our Manager's Reception.  This year we rode on a bus to a rodeo - I don't know where we were because BELIEVE IT OR NOT I was TALKING with friends the whole way on the bus, so I have no idea where we went.. :)  Talk about fun... chatting with new friends and top blogger friends Linda Heller and Angie Juda!!  Whoohoo!  ANYWAY...  we went to a Rodeo and enjoyed music, snacks, drinks, visiting, and then the rodeo...  and THEN .. wow, a WONDERFUL dinner!!

Advisory Board Activities - Leadership 2010

Stampin' Up! treated past and present Advisory Board members to a very VERY lovely breakfast on Thursday of Leadership Conference ... here are a few photos of this lovely event..

Fabulous FREE Stuff from Stampin' Up! - Leadership 2010

As you know, I've been in Phoenix at the Stampin' Up! Leadership conference for a few days.. we've had a blast... so many great infornative classes, fabulous Stamping ideas, visiting with friends, GREAT food, FREE STUFF!! :) and much much more!! 

I'll be sharing many, many photos with you over the next week or so... here we go....

Starting with Check In Day (Wed.), can you believe how FABULOUSLY CUTE our free tote bags are this year!?  OH MY GOSH... the BEST bag ever!!!

Speaking of bags.. can you believe how adorable these bags from memento mall are!?  I've got several of them to give away at my next Luv 2 Stamp Group Meeting, and to send to 4 lucky members of my long distance downline!!

 

If you have been following my blog, you know that I was a presenter here at Leadership.. I had a booth to demo the 3 new kits in the Occasions Mini catalog:  the Eggcellent Eggs kit, the Recipes by Design kit and the Lots of Bots robots valentine's kit.. here I am at my booth throughout the day and evening,,..

My FABULOUS roommate, Stella, helped me carry all my supplies to the Convention Center and set up my display boards.. .

  
Everyone was so kind to stop by and share kind comments and take photos.. I had to take a photo of this fabulously fun group.. :)  Thank you to EVERYONE who said hello, stopped me with a kind comment and for all the lovely cards, gifts, and all the hugs!

 On the last day of Leadership, we got 2 fabulous free gifts..  we got a new stamp set that will be in an upcoming catalog and is part of Shelli's Signature collection, and we got a quilt square made with the Stampin' Up! 5 point Star Big Shot die!!!  This is to encourage us to bring samples of textile arts made with Stampin' UP! Patty's Leadership Samples - part 3

Here is another one of my favorite projects from my presentation at Leadership this week... the new Milk Carton Die (pg 23 in the Occasions mini catalog) all dressed up with accessories from the EGGCELLENT EGGS kit (pg 23 in the Occasions mini catalog) and one of our new epoxy brads!

Here is another fun way to use the Milk Carton Die - place 2 of them inside an altered Fancy Favor box die - thanks to Jan Wakeland for this fun idea!

It's decorated with the flowers and swirls from the EGGCELLENT EGGS kit.

Patty's Leadership Samples - part 2

I just love all the little decorative strips and flowers that come with the EGGCELLENT EGGS KIT in the Occasions Mini Catalog.... they are fun to add to cards!!

This was my favorite... I embossed the background with the new Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder (pg 35 Occasions mini catalog) and then lightly sponged blue ink to highlight the raised dots and simulate sky.  I added our new YUMMY pink corduroy buttons for flower centers... the GRASS is one of the decorative printed strips in the EGGCELLENT EGGS kit.  The flowers and leaves come in the kit also,... I drew the stems.

The EGGCELLENT EGGS kit also comes with adhesive backed rhinestones... I added a strip on this card and to the center of the flower, too.

Can you see the Rub-Ons on the card above and below?  The kit also comes with RUB-ONs... this kit is such a GREAT VALUE for only $9.95!!!

Patty's Leadership Samples - part 1

I am VERY excited about demonstrating several new products at our Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference this week!

The kits from the OCCASIONS MINI CATALOG that I will be demonstrating are:

• RECIPES BY DESIGN, pg 8, item 116772

Here are a couple projects that I made with the EGGCELLENT EGGS kit supplies...as you can see, I've found several ways to use the kit that don't even involve eggs!  :)

The die cut flowers and the printed decorative strips come in the Eggcellent eggs kit. The bird and branch are from the new Bird Punch (pg 10 Occasions mini catalog).

Here are samples of the egg kit flowers and strips that come in the kit.. you can also view them in the Occasions Mini, pg 23):

Thanks to Jan Wakeland for this idea.. punch a hole in your Milk Carton die to create a darling birdhouse!  The "roof" is a 2"x4" piece of cardstock, layered with the decorative strips.

The EGGCELLENT EGGS kit also comes with adorable Rub-ons... i used them here on our cello bags and our new GLASSINE Bag (pg 19).
