A great card for GUYS & Burlap stamp tip!

Need a fun card for a special man in your life? The Pocketful of Sunshine bundle is perfect for making that special card for hubby, son, boyfriend, nephew, dad, coworker, etc.!!

I combined the Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set/framelit bundle and the Burlap background stamp to create this Father's Day card, but you can switch up the greeting to create this for any occasion!

I stamped the Burlap Background stamp in Dapper Denim ink on Dapper Denim cardstock for the background of this card, and without reinking, I stamped it a 2nd time onto another piece of Dapper Denim cardstock, and used that piece for the pocket. I stamped the pocket image in Archival Black ink, die cut it and added it to the card.

My personal preference is the wood background stamps, so I bought the wood mount Burlap stamp, but it's also available in clear mount and you can use your own Clear Block F #118483, pg 217.

For the little "tag" at the side of the pocket like Levi's jeans, I used one of the fun new Corrugated Elements pieces (#144158, pg 31 and 196). I also added gold "studs" to the pocket, using the Metallic Enamel Shapes (#141678, pg 196).

The pocket is a perfect spot for a gift card, folded money, or just a special note!

The strip of striped paper is found in the Pick a Pattern paper pack, #144163, pg 188.

Greeting Card Ideas featuring Memories & More cards

Have you noticed the Memories & More section in the new 2017-2018 Stampin' UP! catalog?

You'll find these new products on pgs 190 through 193 or HERE online. The Memories & More product line is perfect for card making, memory keeping, 3-D projects, mini albums, and so many more DIY crafting projects!

Today I'm sharing 2 card projects I created using both the Color Theory Memories & More Card Pack (pg 193, #144210, $10.00), combined with the Seasonal Layers thinlits dies (pg 216, #143751, $33.00).

Just by adding a few simple die cut images from the Seasonal Layers thinlit set to the pre-printed Memories & More card above, you can see that I created a lovely 3-D effect with the flowers and added interest and a pop of dramatic color with the die cut adirondack chair!

I layered the printed Color Theory Memories & More card onto a folded Crushed Curry card base, and then die cut the 2 flowers and the chair using the Seasonal Layers thinlits. I added glitter dots to the flower centers for added dimension and pizzazz.

Thinking of you was stamped in Night of Navy ink and the stamp is found in the Colorful Seasons stamp set (pg 147, #143726, $27.00). Of course you can save 10% by purchasing the Seasonal Layers thinlit dies WITH the stamp set, and that's bundle #145348.

I had such a great time exploring the possibilities of this Color Theory card pack with Cindee when I stamped at her house! Aren't these great cards? and they take but just a moment to create!!

This is another Memories & More card from the Color Theory package, preprinted with the greeting, and I simply embellished it with sunshine stickers from the same package, a hexagon pattern card from the same package and then die cut flowers and the chair from the Seasonal Layers framelit package. The adirondack chair is die cut from a woodgrain pattern in the Wood Textures paper stack. Crushed Curry Glitter dots embellish the flower centers and the center of the sun.
