Each year I love to share our annual Christmas card with you.  I created one for friends and family and one for my Luv 2 Stamp group of demonstrators. 

I enjoy creating them using My Digital Studio.. this is the Stampin' Up! digital program that allows me to use all of the Stampin' Up! artwork and create cards, letters, calendars, and home decor projects all professionally printed by the Stampin' Up! print service!!

This year as you can see, I played on the "Words with Friends" theme.. our family and many of our friends enjoy playing this fun game on our phones!

This is the front and back of the 5x7 postcard I created.  Pretty clever if I do say so myself!

I'm a copy cat...  I fell in love with the Basic Gray Polkadot cards in the Everyday Occasions card kit, so, I copied that card design in My Digital Studio!

<< out of all the Everyday Occasions kit cards, these polkdot cards were my favorite, so after I opened my 3rd kit, I decided maybe I should just copy that one in My Digital Studio :)

 

BELOW: I added a stamped and punched out tag to the printed cards to add dimension.  I drew the dashed lines with a Basic Black Stampin' Write marker. I stamped hello from the Four You stamp set on pg 22 of the Stampin' Up! Catalog, #130535 on whisper white cardstock and I punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch, #120907.

I also added 3 Black Candy Dots (see above right).

These cards were printed by the Stampin' Up! MDS Print service, and since it is the same low price to get all 4 surfaces printed as it is to print just the front, I always do the inside and back!

I am so very grateful for sooooooooooo many things, and one of them is all of my amazing Stampin' Up! Customers!  I am sharing 2 projects with you today that I've made for my Stampin' Up! customers.

I'm super excited about this first project.. I just made these this week.  I designed images in My Digital Studio and then printed them on my HP Color Laser Printer onto our Tag a Bag chevron bags!!!

I added Washi Tape, a button and a burlap bow to decorate the bag.

These will be filled with little thank you goodies for my customers this fall.

Patty's 2nd Gratitude project:

This is one of the Customer Thank You cards I made for my dear customers this month:

I used a background that I created and printed from My Digital Studio, then stamped the Magificent Maple leaf in 3 colors, stamped A Million & One Thanks in Early Espresso ink, and then tied the orange ribbon around the card.

Last week my hubby and I celebrated our 27th Wedding Anniversary...

 

and just for the record... NO I AM NOT SHORT.. I'm almost 5'-8".. Eric and Jason LOVE to call me SHORT STUFF. 

Here is the card I made Eric in My Digital Studio. I added lots of embellishments to it.

Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder, pg 191, #130917

I curled the LOVE banner with my bone folder (like you curl "curling ribbon") and then added double high Stampin' Dimensionals under the center of it to make it stand up higher.

In addition to the background piece created and printed in My Digital Studio, I added a piece of Crushed Curry Designer paper to the bottom 1/3 of the card, a piece of Smoky Slate Chevron ribbon tied in a knot, a LOVE banner (from the Bloomin Bouquet Kit) AND>> what's a card without Crushed Curry Candy Dots!?  :) It's mounted onto Smoky Slate cardstock and a folded Basic Gray card.

Hexagon Punch Quilt Cards in My Digital Studio

You may remember almost 2 years ago I shared some Quilt Cards (here and here) that I created with Stampin' Up! punches and designer paper.  I truly treasure all the quilts I have from my grandmother, great grandmother and great aunts and loved using them for inspiration in my designs. So, I decided to create a "grandmother's garden" type quilt with My Digital Studio and the Hexagon Punch in MDS. 

My Digital Studio Hexagon Punch Quilt Cards

This is the "card front" that I created in My Digital Studio using the "paper fill" function and the Hexagon Punch MDS download.. I printed 4 on a page on my color HP laser printer and used them as card fronts.

Then I ran the printed pieces through the Big Shot with different embossing folders to make them look kind of quilted or like fabric.

Thanks to Cindee.. I reused the Hey There friend tag from a gift she gave me.

I also tried the Elegant Lines embossing folder (#119277), and added a Paper Doily #129399, and a flower from the Artisan Embellishment kit #129328 on top of a Floral Framelits diecut #127012.

 I added a small piece of hexagon printed DSP from the Tea for Two pack #129311 at the bottom of the card

My 3rd sample features the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder #120175 and Calypso Coral and Daffodill Delight cardstock

Isn't it amazing how the embossing folder makes it look like it's really quilted!?

 You have probably joined me after visiting Jason's blog, and you can click on the "next blog" link at the bottom of the post to continue on the tour.  

I REALLY Love the new Soda Pop Tops from Stampin' Up!.. you'll find them on pg 24 of the Spring catalog, (order code #129388).  I thought I'd show you a few ways I've used the Soda Pop Tops on my card projects.

This card features the Chalkboard Technique done in My Digital Studio, mounted on a Basic Gray card.

This is the small size Soda Pop Top.. you will get 8 small and 8 large Pop Tops in your package.

I've used DSP from the Parker's Patterns pack (#131021) and Tea for Two (#129311), as well as the 1/2" circle punch, 7/8" scallop circle, and the 1-1/4" scallop circle punch.

You can see that they have a raised edge when you take them out of the package, and I've flattened mine in the Big Shot.  If you have not done that before, you will find instructions in my videos.. click here to view the video.

Above I have paired up some Soda Pop Tops with My Digital Studio artwork inserts and some FREE Sale a Bration Happy Hello cards!  I used the fun Pop-Up Posies flowers (pg 18 Spring catalog, #131395) to give extra pops of color.
