I recently met 2 big goals in my Stampin' Up! business, and wanted to celebrate by giving away some fun "blast from the past" Stampin' UP! 1. I met one of my goals the last day of Sale a Bration 2017, and that was to sell $1.3 million in Stampin' Up! product in my career!!  My dear customer Belinda was the one to place the order that pushed me over that milestone, so I sent Belinda a gift in the mail.

2. My other goal was to reach the title of Platinum Elite, and I achieved that in April - just a couple weeks ago!  It is the highest title a demonstrator can hold in the current Stampin' Up! career plan!

Attention My Digital Studio customers

 

Dear friends... as you know, the news about the retirement of My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up! has been difficult for so many of us... such sad news for those of us who have come to know and love MDS for the past several years.

Many of you have come to me asking for guidance or suggestions, so I wanted to share with you what I've learned and I hope it will help you in your digital creation journey as you move forward.

 

MY DIGITAL STUDIO:

• You can continue to use MDS on your computer and use all your downloads, as long as you've remembered to download them all into your computer off the Stampin' Up! site. 
• You can continue to print cards, calendars, swatchbooks, journals, scrapbooks and more through the MDS print service through May 31, 2015. 
• Be sure to both download all of your purchased downloads and print your current projects PRIOR to May 31, 2015.

MY MEMORIES COMPANY:

After May 31, if you wish to print your calendars or scrapbooks, you might consider going through My Memories.

Here is some info from THEIR WEBSITE:

Here is our current plan to help My Digital Studio customers migrate to My Memories Suite. Keep in mind this plan may change between now and when the MDS site goes offline.

1. Unfortunately will not be providing continued support for the MDS software after support is discontinued on May 31st.
2. We are offering any MDS user a FREE copy of My Memories Suite 5.
3. Installed MDS content can be migrated into My Memories Suite. Be sure to download any purchased MDS content to your computer prior to site closing. (Steps for Mac) / ( Steps for Windows)
4. You can convert any MDS created album project into a MMS album by changing the file extensions from .mds to .mms. (Steps for Mac) / (Steps for Windows)
5. MMS offers professionally printed photobooks and calendars that can be uploaded through MMS. As well as photo gifts that can be ordered online.
6. MMS does not offer direct professionally printed board books, journals, and cards. Be sure to finish any of these project types in MDS prior to closing of print services.
7. Our content such as Papers and Embellishments will work with MDS, but only if you select the General format. (Or do the reverse of the migrate steps.)
8. We are offering an upgrade to My Memories Suite 6 for $19.99 which includes a $7 mymemories.com store credit.

My Digital Studio Spiral Bound Journals

 

One of my creative projects this past summer was a spiral  bound journal for my Luv 2 Stamp Group members.  I created them in My Digital Studio and had the My Digital Studio print service print them for me. MDS (My Digital Studio) is the Stampin' UP! digital solutions software program available here.

I did a slightly different design for gifts for all of my Luv 2 Stamp Group Convention attendees, and then designed this version above to give out at my August meeting to all attendees.

I LOVE lined writing paper, tablets, notepads or journals... something about lined paper just makes me so happy!! 

I also offered a journal to each of my Luv 2 Stamp Group members who create and upload at least 10 Holiday Catalog samples to our Facebook group from Aug. 18 to Oct. 31.  I've sent out quite a few, and I'm hoping more of my demonstrators earn one!  I also include one in each New Demonstrator Welcome kit for demonstrators who join Stampin' Up! with me personally.

My Digital Studio Photobooth Props

 

Want to take a guess at what we are doing with these fun props at our Luv 2 Stamp Group meeting today!?

Well the title of my blog post may have given it away... but yes, we are doing a fun "photobooth" at our Luv 2 Stamp Group meeting today and I created these fun "props" in My Digital Studio (Stampin' Up! digital crafting solution software) and I will have all of these plus some funny glasses, hats, necklaces, etc., available as props for our photobooth photos!  I printed and die cut these and put them on a wooden skewer with a hot glue gun and added Stampin' Up! ribbon and sequins so they are kind of like cute fairy godmother wands :)

We are going to be posting on Instagram today.. so if you are on Instagram, be sure to find me there (under PattyStamps) and watch for our exclusive group hashtag  #luv2stampgroup as well!

After I created these graphics in My Digital Studio (MDS) I printed them at home on my color laser printer and die cut them on my Big Shot with the Circle Framelits and Starburst Framelits.  I also used my Star framelits to bling them up a bit... what do you think?

At our annual summer Luv 2 Stamp Group meeting we have Awards and Recognition and I thought it would be fun for those demonstrators in the top 10, top 25, and those who have achieved other milestones to use these props when taking photos.  We are recognizing lots of talent, service, and achievements today! I am so proud of my amazing demonstrators... what a wonderful group I am blessed to lead!

I have such a cute Halloween Treat for you today!!

I saw the idea of drawing a face on a cello bag on Pinterest... well... if you know me well, you know that

I AM NOT AN ARTIST... therefore I stamp... or, in this case, use My Digital Studio!

Instead of trying to freehand draw jack o lantern faces, I created them in My Digital Studio,

printed them and slipped them into the cello bag and traced them with a Sharpie Marker!

I used THIS PUMPKIN PATCH MDS download for the artwork.

If you are more artistic than I am, I'm sure you could try drawing your own.

They are the same My Digital Studio artwork as I featured in my fall Printer Tray project!

Here is a little tip for tying the bow.... first tie a piece of Gumball Green Ribbon around the cello to secure it, then, add a bow of Chevron ribbon... cute cute!

I had so much fun designing bag fronts in My Digital Studio (from Stampin' Up!), then printing them in my HP Color Laser printer onto the Tag a Bag chevron bags!

I kind of had a field day creating lots of different bags...

Once I started... I just couldn't stop!

I measured the bag, and created a custom size project in MDS (My Digital Studio) of that size.

Then I designed my bag fronts, saved them as a .jpg and it was easiest for me to import those .jpg images into Word and print from there on my HP Color Laser printer.

Aren't they even cuter when you fill them and decorate them with Stampin' Up! Embellishments?

I created these for Stampin' Up! Customers, Luv 2 Stamp Group downline members, friends and family for lots of different occasions!

 

The fun "For You" tag and labels are from the new Pop & Place Holiday Gift Tags assortment!

I decorated this birthday bag with Cherry Cobbler Chevron Ribbon, Burlap ribbon, a tag from the Chalk Talk framelits, a Naturals button, and some Early Espresso Bakers Twine.
