Today is our 25th Wedding Anniversary... I can't believe that 25 years have FLOWN by since I married Eric!!  I'll be posting photos on another day... we plan to revisit the site of our wedding tomorrow and take a 25th anniversary photo... so I'll blog those some other time :)

Patty Bennett's Stampin' Up! Open House 2010

We had a lovely evening last Friday at my Stampin' Up! New Catalog Open House!!!

Nearly 25 of my dear customers came and it was wonderful to see everyone.. some drove well over an hour or hour and a half to attend!! Thanks, Ladies!!!!

They each received several gifts:   a free stamp set from my stash of retired sets as their gift for attending, plus a Stampin' Up! 2010 Catalog, Definitely Decorative Catalog, and sheet of labels to use on their new color collection of ink pads and cardstock. 

I had lots of new products on display ...

I made signs for the new products so my gals could find them easily in the new catalog.

Great NEW Big Shot Dies from Stampin' Up!

Remember that FABULOUS butterfly on the cover of our Current Stampin' UP! catalog!?  Well, guess what.. it's a Stampin' Up! EXCLUSIVE BIG SHOT DIE in the new catalog! WHAT A POPULAR item THAT will be!! 

The other design that I think will be wildly popular is our EXCLUSIVE Box dies.. there are 2 of them!!  They are the BIGZ XL dies so the boxes are a pretty nice size! Shelli demonstrated one of them on stage at the Regional yesterday and it's SOOOOOO easy to put together and really cute!

The big oval scallop frame die will be REALLY popular too... and our Stampin' UP! EXCLUSIVE Sizzlit 4-pack TAG die called "Lots of Tags" is going to be REALLY handy!!!

The Stampin' Up! Exclusive Big Bold Cupcake die is adorable.. that will be too much fun for birthdays!

There are also 4 Stampin' Up! Exclusive Embosslit dies (flowers), I've already mentioned the TEXTURZ plates, and then in MARCH.. WATCH OUT.. the Manhattan Flower Textured Impression Die is going to be on EVERYONE's WISH LIST!!!  It is THE BEST!!

My FAVORITE Tidbits of News from the New Stampin' Up! Catalog

Today my friends and I figured out the COOOOOLEST thing about the NEW Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the New Stampin' Up! catalog... First of all.. the new papers are GORGEOUS, which is pretty obvious, BUT... CHECK THIS OUT... There are 3 new packs of DSP that are a thicker weight "cover-weight" cardstock, that are TEXTURED... OH MY GOSH.. these are FABULOUS!  They are on pg 158.. they feeeeeeeeeeeeel fabulous.. kind of pebbled... kind of like a fabric type texture... they have to be touched to be fully appreciated!!  AND... if that's not enough.. the Rockabilly Specialty Paper has Glossy accents on one side and it is sooooooooo cool! The Glossy Cherries are just the cutest things ever!! These 4 packs that I've mentioned along with the Pink Flamingo pack that Shelli demonstrated with on stage at Regional today are going to be my faves!

OK.. so what else caught my eye.. well.. you KNOW I will HAVE to have the new Big Shot dies.. especially the CLEAR DIES that you can see through and place over a photo or DSP or stamped image in JUST the right spot.. VERY cool!

AND THE TEXTURZ PLATES on pg 203... WHAT A FABULOUS Value!!  LOVE THEM!! Something to note, when you are ready to order these.. you will also need the Impressions Pad and Silicone Rubber pad (see note at top of pg 203). 

We got to use the Simple Flower Embosslit in Make & Takes today.. it's sooooooooo cute... what a perfect flower image and no cutting!! :)
