The attention to detail was amazing, and I wanted to share these magical table settings with you. Ruth and her amazing husband Mark transformed the Doubletree hotel meeting space into a snowflake wonderland for our lunch and dinner on Saturday!!

 

Above and Below:  at lunch we were greeted with this magical place setting including hand painted brown bags filled with REAL greenery, sticks and die cut snowflakes!!!  The die cut snowflakes are part of an upcoming November special.. watch for news on my blog soon! :)

 

Below.. and then at dinner.. can you just even believe how CUTE this is.. she used the November 2017 "Back in Plaid" Paper Pumpkin kit stockings to create utensil holders and caps for these adorable snowmen made from mini coffee cups!!!

Tip:  Ruth ironed the stockings with some spray starch and then embossed them in the Big Shot with the Cable Knit Embossing Folder.. how cute is that!!??

The stars aligned, I received my June 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit a couple days ago, and I actually HAD TIME to make it right away!!!  I feel like I"m usually about 2 months behind.. but I was able to make these adorable birthday cards with my Paper Pumpkin kit and, as suggested in the box, I combined the supplies with the fantastic Broadway Bound Suite of products!!

Alternate Paper Pumpkin Ideas with Springtime Foils paper

 I am so in love with the Springtime Foils paper - a new gift choice from Stampin' UP! during Sale-a-Bration with your $50 online order!!  I paired it with one of my refill kits from the January Paper Pumpkin card kit.. what a GREAT kit this is, and the copper hearts match perfectly with the Rose Gold details in the Springtime Foil paper!

 

 

All of the ideas I'm sharing today feature the Paper Pumpkin refill kit for January 2018.  You get enough supplies to create 16 pocket cards with this refill kit! Scroll to the bottom of this post for all the details.

 

Alternate Paper Pumpkin Kit Idea #1:

featuring Springtime Foil Sale-a-Bration paper!

 

I stamped the thanks sentiment from "All Things Thanks" in Memento black ink on Whisper White cardstock, and die cut them with the Stitched Shape framelits for the inserts of this card design.

Seriously.. this January Paper Pumpkin refill kit is worth it just for all the yards of copper metallic-edge ribbon!!!  Be still my heart!!  :)

 

For these cards, I colored some of the flowers on the Springtime Foils paper with my Light and Dark Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blends markers, then punched some out with my 2" circle punch.  I cut others out with my Paper Snips.  I used Copper Foil paper (above) and my Starburst punch for layering with the 2" circle. 

For the cards below, I used the Starburst punch and Powder Pink cardstock to layer with the 2" punched circle.

Coloring the flowers with the Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blends is quick and easy. This paper colors very quickly as it has a slight glossy coating on it.

Christmas Candy Donations

 

Guess what I did with most of my November Paper Pumpkin Christmas Stockings?

I filled them with holiday candy treats, and packaged them up for a donation!  I donated these to the bowling alley 50-50 raffle this week and I hope that the recipients are going to enjoy them!

I opened up my Paper Pumpkin Kit, got the stockings ready and went shopping for lots of fun candy treats to fill the stockings with!

I assembled the tags that came with the kit, attached them to the stockings and then put 4 stockings in each little "take out box" filled with new Stampin' UP! shreddie.

I wrapped them all up (anyone recognize the polkadot ribbon from MANY years ago? I love that ribbon!) and donated them to the raffle!

Layered Leaves Paper Pumpkin kit gifts

 

Hi friends!!  If you follow me on my Business Facebook Page or Instagram, you probably know that we were away on Vacation last week... we took a cruise to the Caribbean!! It was wonderful and relaxing and just what we all needed!!  I think it's been 2 years since we took a week off, so let's say we thoroughly enjoyed the time away!

We cruised on Royal Caribbean to the Western Caribbean on the Liberty of the Seas on a crafting and stamping cruise hosted by demonstrator Jenn Gulch.   She had tons of Stampin' Up! crafting projects for us to create, and you can see some of them HERE. Today I am going to share the little cards and gift boxes I brought with me to give to our cabin steward, our waiters, and other special people on the ship.  We like to leave a little something on the bed for the cabin steward each night, and also treat the waiters on the last night. 

I used the "Layered Leaves" September Paper Pumpkin kit and a few other supplies to create the little gifties.  For all the supplies, scroll to the bottom of this post, please.

We put money in them and I think they enjoyed each treat!
